An electronic device includes a sensor in which a sensing area and a peripheral area proximate to the sensing area are defined, and a sensor driver driving the sensor. The sensor includes first electrodes disposed in the sensing area and arranged along a first direction, and second electrodes arranged along a second direction intersecting the first direction. A boundary extending along the second direction is defined in the sensing area. The sensor driver simultaneously outputs a plurality of boundary transmit signals to a plurality of boundary electrodes disposed in a boundary area including the boundary among the plurality of first electrodes.

An input sensing device includes a sensor that includes a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes, and a sensor driver that operates in a first sensing mode and a second sensing mode. During the first sensing mode, the sensor driver generates a first sensing signal by transmitting transmission signals to the sensor and receiving reception signals from the sensor. During the second sensing mode, the sensor driver generates a second sensing signal by transmitting the transmission signals to the sensor and receiving the reception signals from the sensor. The sensor driver selects one of a plurality of compensation maps based on the first sensing signal, compensates for the second sensing signal based on the selected compensation map, and outputs the compensated sensing signal.

A display device includes: a touch sensing unit on a front surface of an image display area and configured to sense a location of a touch; a display driver circuit configured to select one of first to third temperature sensing modes during a predetermined temperature sensing period and to generate at least one of first to third mode sensing control signals according to the selected temperature sensing mode; and a touch driver circuit configured to generate at least one of first to third temperature sensing map data in response to at least one of the first to third mode sensing control signals, wherein the display driver circuit is configured to compensate for image data based on at least one of the first to third temperature sensing map data and to display an image according to the compensated image data in the display area.

A display device includes a display panel, an input sensor disposed on the display panel and sensing an input during a sensing frame period, a display controller receiving a vertical synchronization signal and a horizontal synchronization signal and controlling driving of the display panel in response to the vertical synchronization signal and the horizontal synchronization signal, and a sensor controller providing a transmission signal including a plurality of sampling periods to the input sensor. The display controller provides frequency information of a display frame period to the sensor controller using at least one of the vertical synchronization signal and the horizontal synchronization signal, and the sensor controller controls the number of the sampling periods of the sensing frame period based on the frequency information.
