An assembly for a vehicle interior includes at least one armrest each presenting a receiving surface for the elbow and/or forearm of an occupant of the vehicle interior and a support for the armrest. Each armrest has a panel movable in translation relative to the support according to an elevation direction between a first position and a second position. For each armrest, the movable panel of that armrest includes an upper panel portion at least partially delimiting the receiving surface of that armrest extending in a first plane, and a side panel portion separate from the upper panel portion extending in a second plane, different from the first plane, the side panel portion having a heating element configured, when activated, to diffuse heat.

A trim element having a body and a covering element extending over part of the body. The covering element includes at least two substantially rigid panels connected to one another by a flexible branch forming a bending line of the panels relative to one another and fastened to the body by a fastening edge forming a hinge between the panels and the body, the covering element being deformable around the bending line. The covering element hinges between a retracted position, in which the panels of the covering element are pressed against the body, and a deployed position, in which the panels are moved away from the body, the covering element defining a storage volume with the body in the deployed position.

A vehicle interior trim element has at least one substrate layer covered with a skin having an outer surface containing a plurality of asperities, regularly distributed on the outer surface. The outer surface of the skin defines an outer surface of the trim element that is visible within the vehicle interior. The trim element may be processed by applying a heat source on part of the outer surface forming a decorative area, the application of the heat source being arranged to at least reduce the height of the asperities in the decorative areas such that the decorative area has a different appearance from the rest of the outer surface.

Method for producing a trim element having a decorative area with a particular appearance

An opening/closing device includes a bistable device having a fixed member () delimiting one side of an opening providing access to a compartment, and a flexible mobile member (), articulated on the fixed member proximate the ends of the access opening. The fixed and mobile members () delimit jointly the entire access opening, and the mobile member () has two stable positions, one wherein it is adjacent to the fixed member (), the other wherein only its ends are adjacent to the fixed member (). The mobile member () is elongated and has naturally two stable positions with opposite convexities. The invention is applicable to vehicle passenger compartments.
