Disclosed is a device for the perfusion of an organ, including: a container of fluid, containing an organ bathed in the perfusion fluid; a first path including an inlet, an outlet and a pump; and a second path including an inlet, an outlet and a pump. The 'arterial' outlet of the first path has a diameter smaller than a diameter of the 'portal' outlet of the second path. The device additionally includes, between the pump and the outlet of the first path and/or between the pump and the outlet of the second path, an oxygenation unit arranged to oxygenate the fluid emerging from the &#x201c;arterial&#x201d; outlet of the first path more than the fluid emerging from the &#x201c;portal&#x201d; outlet of the second path. The device can include a communication path between the first path and the second path in order to oxygenate the second path. Use in liver transplantation.

Organ perfusion device

The present invention relates to a unit () comprising a microsystem () and at least one set of interface connections () for the microsystem (); the microsystem () comprising a bottom plate () bearing the impression of at least one microstructured dynamic cell culture chamber (), and a top plate (), characterized in that the at least one microstructured chamber () is fluidically connected at inlet and/or at outlet by a set of connections () inserted removably into a hole in the upper plate (). The present invention also relates to a dynamic cell culture system to this effect.

Multi-reactor unit for dynamic cell culture

The present invention relates to a method of toxicological evaluation of a candidate substance on at least one tissue or organ, characterized in that it comprises the steps of: (a) obtaining a bioartificial tissue or organ by simulation or modelling of the metabolic activity of said tissue or organ by at least one bioreactor; (b) exposure of said bioartificial tissue or organ to said substance; (c) observation of the metabolic response of the bioartificial tissue or organ and acquisition without a priori of an associated multidimensional data set; (d) identification by means of a method of multivariate statistical analysis of the components of the multidimensional data set which are quantitatively correlated with predetermined variables; (e) generation of a predictive model on the basis of the components of the data set that are actually retained; (f) testing of the predictive nature of said model by at least one statistical method of estimating reliability; (g) identification of the metabolic response of the bioartificial tissue or organ in the form of biomarkers associated with the components of the data set that are adopted for the model. The present invention also relates to a method of toxicological screening and to a system for this purpose.
