A monitoring system includes a strap having a free end and a base end, a base attached to the base end of the strap, and at least one contact pad attached to the base. An electrical conductor extends along the strap between the free end and the base end. An electronic module is releasably attached to the base and includes a processor, a power supply, a transmitter, and a locking pin. A locking mechanism is configured to retain the electronic module on the base and includes a biasing member mounted on the base, a locking pawl operable between a locking position and a release position. The free end of the strap is releasably insertable between the module and the base. A key is insertable into the base and configured to release the locking pawl from the locking pin.

Systems, methods and devices are provided for the automated centrifugal processing of samples. In some embodiments, an integrated fluidic processing cartridge is provided, in which a centrifugation chamber is fluidically interfaced, through a lateral surface thereof, with a microfluidic device, and wherein the integrated fluidic processing cartridge is configured to be inserted into a centrifuge for centrifugation. A cartridge interfacing assembly may be employed to interface with the integrated fluidic processing cartridge for performing various fluidic processing steps, such as controlling the flow of fluids into and out of the centrifugation chamber, and controlling the flow of fluids into the microfluidic device, and optionally for the further fluidic processing of fluids extracted to the microfluidic device. The integrated fluidic processing cartridge may include a supernatant chamber the extraction of a supernatant thereto, and a diluent chamber for diluting a suspension collected in the centrifugation chamber.

Apparatus, system and method for performing automated centrifugal separation

A collar for connecting ducting components is provided. The collar includes a tubular wall having a line end and a free end, an annular flange extending radially outwardly from the line end, and a plurality of retaining tabs extending outwardly from the free end. A plurality of locking members are provided at the line end. The locking members are configured to releasably secure the flange to an adjacent member.

A card holder includes a first compartment sized to retain a credit card. The first compartment includes a frame and a rear support wall attached to the frame. A cover is pivotally attached to a lower portion of the support wall and pivotable between an open position. The support wall is uncovered and a closed position wherein the support wall is covered. A release mechanism is mounted on the frame and operable between a retaining position wherein the release mechanism retains the cover in the closed position and a release position wherein the release mechanism releases the cover such that the cover is pivotable to the open position.

A clip for medical tubing is a device for releasably and removably securing medical tubing, such as nasogastric tubes, surgical drainage tubes and the like, to a garment, such as a hospital gown or the like. The clip for medical tubing includes an elongated flexible member having longitudinally opposed first and second ends, and first and second clamps extending from the first and second ends, respectively, of the elongated flexible member. Each of the first and second clamps includes a yoke having first and second laterally opposed arms, at least two first resilient fingers extending in parallel from the first arm of the yoke, and at least one second resilient finger extending from the second arm of the yoke. The at least one second finger is resiliently compressible.

An adjustable fastener includes a base having a first surface and an opposing second surface. At least two flanges extend outwardly from the second surface. The flanges are spaced-apart along a longitudinal axis of the base. At least one tab is movably attached to the base. The tab is positioned between the two flanges and includes at least one rib extending outwardly therefrom. A carriage is movably attachable to the base. The carriage is directly attachable to at least a portion of an object. The carriage includes at least one elongated extension having a plurality of complementary spaced-apart ribs for engaging the rib of the tab of the base to locate and retain the elongated extension on the base.

The cover plate may be substantially flush with a wall upon installation. The box may comprise an enclosed section connectively hinged to the box. The system is preferably made of metal, plastic, or combination thereof.
