An optical component for an attenuated total reflection multispectral imaging device, which includes a support substrate and at least two planar waveguides, and wherein the planar waveguides and the support substrate are superimposed together, with the support substrate which covers the planar waveguides; each of the planar waveguides includes at least one diffraction grating; and at least two of the planar waveguides have their diffraction gratings which have values of the average pattern distribution pitch which are distinct from each other; the support substrate includes, on one side opposite the planar waveguides, a face forming an exchange interface with a sample; and an exit face of the optical component corresponds to a lateral face of the support substrate.

Optical component for an ATR imaging device

A light distribution device, for distributing light rays from an ancillary light source onto a scene to be lighted. The device includes a planar waveguide, a recess in the planar waveguide for injecting light rays into the planar waveguide, and a through opening in the planar waveguide for extracting light rays from the planar waveguide. In this way, light can be distributed over a large area, homogeneously and with a thin, easily manufactured device.

A wavelength demultiplexing device configured so as to spatially distributing the spectral contributions of an incident light beam, when in use, and which includes a linear waveguide and a planar waveguide, formed in a coplanar way and adapted to be optically coupled with one another along a coupling line, by evanescent coupling. Such a device may further include diffraction gratings located in the planar waveguide, to extract light out of the latter.
