The present exemplary embodiment discloses a method and system for utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence to selecting an optimal conversion driver to convert a document into a printable form. The methods include receiving at least one user print request and at least one user submitted file associated with the user request, optimizing the conversion of a file by executing, by at least one computer processor, determining that format conversion is necessary for the file, identifying least one of a plurality of file conversion drivers as optimal for converting the file, causing the optimal file conversion driver to convert the file into a printer readable format, and printing the converted file. The conversion drivers may be selected from remote or local conversion engines. The machine learning employs artificial intelligence to select the optimal conversion path by analyzing the properties of the document submitted for conversion.

Method and system for intelligent optimization of document conversion engine selection

Systems and methods for customizing a kiosk device are disclosed. The methods may include, by a processor: providing a web-interface portal that enables a user to generate a customized application package for customization of a kiosk device that provides document processing services via a print device, receiving one or more custom files to be included in the customized application package from the user via the web-interface portal, and generating the customized application package. The customized application package includes the received one or more custom files stored in a format compatible with the kiosk device. The user does not have access to the format, and the customized application package when installed on the kiosk device will cause customization of the kiosk device in accordance with the one or more custom files.

Methods and systems for customization of a secured kiosk device

A method and system for efficiently and securely permitting a user to scan electronic documents from a remote multi-function device to a user's home directory. A user can be authenticated via the multi-function device and electronic credentials associated with the user generated, which are utilized to determine the user's home directory. The multi-function device can then produce a customized template that can be selected by the user when accessing rendering/scanning services. The user can then scan a document and electronically store such a document at the home directory via an SMB (Server Message Block) protocol. Home directories can either be determined via an LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) or configured on a network interface via a default directory path and the user name.
