Compositions comprising a combination of low molecular weight prepolymers and high molecular weight prepolymers are disclosed. The compositions are used to fabricate elastomeric articles having high tensile strength and high tensile elongation.

More specifically the invention relates to chemically resistant sealing components and methods of making said sealing components using three-dimensional printing, and that may be used in vehicle applications.

The multilayer systems can be made using three-dimensional printing that facilitate the use of a wide range of coreactive compositions.

Graphenic carbon nanoparticles that are dispersed in solvents through the use of dispersant resins are disclosed. The graphenic carbon nanoparticles may be milled prior to dispersion. The dispersant resins may comprise a polymeric dispersant resin comprising an addition polymer comprising the residue of a vinyl heterocyclic amide, an addition polymer comprising a homopolymer, a block (co)polymer, a random (co)polymer, an alternating (co)polymer, a graft (co)polymer, a brush (co)polymer, a star (co)polymer, a telechelic (co)polymer, or a combination thereof. The solvents may be aqueous, non-aqueous, inorganic and/or organic solvents. The dispersions are highly stable and may contain relatively high loadings of the graphenic carbon nanoparticles.

Composite particles may be produced by drying slurries containing silica particles and graphenic carbon particles in a liquid carrier. Elastomeric formulations comprising a base elastomer composition and the silica-graphenic carbon composite particles are also disclosed. A process for producing an article by three-dimensional printing includes applying a 1,1-di-activated vinyl compound-containing liquid binder over a predetermined area of a layer of solid particles. The liquid binder infiltrates gaps between the solid particles to form a first cross-sectional layer of an article, and the 1,1-di-activated vinyl compound reacts to solidify the liquid binder and bind the solid particles in the first cross-sectional layer of the article. Also provided is an article produced by the three-dimensional printing process, set forth herein.

The present invention is directed to a coated conduit comprising: a) a conduit having an interior and exterior surface; and b) a cured coating formed from a reaction mixture that is applied to at least one surface of the conduit. The reaction mixture comprises: i) a filler material comprising fibers ranging in length from 0.1 to 15.54 cm and having an aspect ratio of at least 5; and ii) a reactive component that demonstrates a tack-free time of less than five minutes at a temperature of 20 to 25&#xb0; C. The present invention is also directed to a method of repairing or reinforcing a conduit, comprising: (a) applying a curable coating composition to at least one surface of the conduit, wherein the curable coating composition is formed from the reaction mixture described above; and (b) allowing the curable coating composition to at least partially cure by exposing the composition to ambient conditions.
