The lamp is useful for general household illumination and provides pleasing skin tones.

Blue incandescent general purpose lamp

A yellow bug lamp whose coating is cadmium-free. The coating comprises sulfate precipitated silica, aluminum silicate pigment, zirconium praseodymiun yellow zircon and nickel titanium yellow rutile and has color coordinates of x=0.5341 to 0.5406 and y=0.4400 to 0.4378.

Enviromentally safe yellow bug light

An electric lamp which exhibits a pink color when energized and which comprises a vitreous, light transmissive envelope and enclosing a filament within and a coating on a surface of said envelope. The coating comprises about 42.5 w% calcined kaolin clay; about 42.5 w% synthetic precipitated silica; about 5 w% titanium dioxide; about 7 w% of chrome tin pink sphene; and about 3 w% red iron oxide.
