A device for inductively soldering at least one ferromagnetic contact element to at least one conductor structure on a nonmetallic plate, includes a system for fastening a plate during the soldering operation, at least one soldering tool having at least one induction loop or induction coil suitable for emitting a magnetic field, a system for mutually positioning the soldering tool and the contact element such that the switched-on magnetic field of the soldering tool reliably heats the ferromagnetic contact element and thus the solder joint, a generator that is suitable for generating an alternating voltage with a frequency of up to 1500 kHz and that can be connected to the induction loop or induction coil.

Device and method for soldering contact elements with induction heat

An electrically conductive contact pin for press-fitting into a PCB in a Z-direction. The contact pin includes a press-fit zone with a central crosspiece area, and two wing areas adjacent to the crosspiece area, each crosspiece area having two ear areas. The crosspiece area is confined by a crosspiece rectangle and the ear regions are confined by ear rectangles. Corner points of the ear rectangles facing a center of the cross-sectional area coincide with corner points of the crosspiece rectangle. The crosspiece rectangle has a crosspiece width in an X direction of 9-29% of a starting thickness of the contact pin and a crosspiece thickness in a Y direction of 35-55% of the starting thickness. The ear rectangles have an ear width in the X-direction of 40-60% of the starting thickness and an ear thickness in the Y-direction of 15-35% of the starting thickness.

Contact pin for pressing into a printed circuit board and contact arrangement

A method is described for solderless electrical press-in contacting of conductive press-in pins in circuit boards, the method comprising the following steps: Providing a circuit board having at least one contacting opening for press-in contacting; providing at least one press-in component having at least one conductive press-in pin; providing a sonotrode for exerting a force and for applying ultrasonic energy. In order to electrically and mechanically contact press-in pins to a circuit board by means of ultrasonic press-in technology, it is provided that the press-in component together with its press-in pin, is fixated during a press-in step, in particular held firmly in place, and that a force and ultrasonic energy are directly applied to the circuit board by means of the sonotrode such that the circuit board is pressed at the location of its contacting opening onto the press-in pin, not directly acted upon by the sonotrode, of the press-in component.
