A pair of mounting bracket for a mower fuel tank. The bottom bracket and top bracket are attached adjacent a rear traction drive wheel. The bottom bracket has at least one projection extending upwardly into a recess in a bottom surface of a mower fuel tank, and the top bracket has at least one projection extending downwardly into a recess in a top surface of the mower fuel tank. Each projection touches but is not fastened to the corresponding recess, and has a length dimension and a width dimension smaller than the recess to allow relative movement from expansion or contraction of the mower fuel tank

Stand on mower

A stand on mower operator station includes a leaning pad having an upright position on a stand on mower, and a foot platform connected to the leaning pad. A dampening member allows the leaning pad and foot platform to move vertically together and absorbs shocks encountered by the stand on mower.

A zero turning radius mower has an internal combustion engine mounted transversely on a pair of longitudinal frame members behind an operator seat and a pair of rear drive wheels. The engine rotates a flywheel on a horizontal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal frame members. A gearbox is mounted to one of the longitudinal frame members, with a horizontal input shaft driven by the engine and a vertical output shaft engaging one or more rubber belts. The same rubber belts drive a pair hydrostatic transmissions for the pair of rear drive wheels and a plurality of rotary mower blades under a mower deck.

A zero turning radius mower radiator mounting structure having inclined deflectors extending upwardly from the radiator. The inclined deflectors slide on a cross member extending horizontally across the roll over protection system if the mower is in a rollover position. The inclined deflectors push the radiator rearwardly from the roll over protection system and disengage the radiator from first and second pairs of isolators.

A return to neutral control mechanism for a zero turning radius mower is disclosed. The return to neutral control mechanism includes a pair of control levers pivotable between forward, neutral and reverse positions. A brake pedal is moveable between a disengaged position to an engaged position. In response to engagement of the brake pedal, a control pivot attached to each control lever moves each control lever to the neutral position. The return to neutral control mechanism may include a cam that rotates in response to engagement of the brake pedal, and a control pivot that follows the cam during engagement of the brake pedal.
