The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system that includes a drain pan. The drain pan is configured to collect condensate into a basin of the drain pan from an evaporator of the HVAC system and to direct the condensate from the basin via a drain port of the drain pan. A draining surface is formed in the basin and includes a compound slope including a first slope extending along a length of the drain pan and a second slope extending along a width of the drain pan. A raised surface extends from the draining surface and includes protrusions extending from a spine that extends along a side of the drain pan. The raised surface is configured to support the evaporator of the HVAC system.

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to a heat exchanger system that includes a conduit configured to flow a working fluid therethrough, where the conduit has a first portion, a second portion, and a bend directly coupling the first portion and the second portion, where the first portion includes a first header connection, the second portion includes a second header connection, and the bend is distal to the first header connection and the second header connection and a support plate coupled to the bend and positioned between the first portion and the second portion of the conduit.

In an embodiment, a filter assembly is configured to filter an airflow entering an air intake of a HVAC unit. The filter assembly includes a first layer of a first coarse mesh, a second layer of a second coarse mesh, and a fine filter disposed between the first layer and the second layer. Additionally, the fine filter includes an upper level and a lower level with respect to the airflow, and wherein the lower level facilitates accumulation of fine debris captured from the airflow entering the air intake of the HVAC unit.

The present disclosure relates to an HVAC system door assembly that includes a door that includes a panel having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, and a first seal circuit. The first seal circuit is disposed on the first side. The HVAC system door assembly also includes a door frame that includes a second seal circuit. HVAC system door assembly further includes a ridge projecting from one of the first seal circuit or the second seal circuit configured to align with and engage a central portion of the other of the first seal circuit or the second seal circuit when the door is in a closed position with respect to the door frame. The ridge includes a cross-sectional profile having a flattened peak section with sloping side sections that extend from boundaries of the flattened peak section to a base of the ridge.

A vapor compression system that includes a baffle that separates a first condenser and a first fan from a second condenser and a second fan. A controller that switches between first and second modes of operation. In the first mode of operation the controller closes a valve to block a flow of a refrigerant through a first condenser and turns off the first fan. In the second mode of operation the controller opens the valve to enable the flow of the refrigerant through the first condenser and turns on the first fan.

Filter racks are disclosed that are adjustable to accommodate filters of various thicknesses. The filter racks may include an insert that can be positioned within the base of the filter rack in two or more positions to adjust the receiving width of the filter rack. A perforated tab of the insert may be unbent to position the insert within the base at a smaller width, and the tab may be bent to position the insert within the base at a larger width. The insert also may include a divider that can be positioned within the base to reduce the width of the filter rack. Further, a rotating guide may be attached to detents within walls of the filter rack compartment. The guide may be biased at various angles to accommodate filters of different widths.
