The present disclosure is related to IUD insertion device for inserting an IUD into the cervix of a female patient.

IUD insertion devices with a rotatable string controller and methods

Closure devices for sealing a puncture and methods of sealing a puncture are described herein. A closure device may be used to position a sealant in a puncture. The sealant may be provided in a sheath which is retracted to expose the sealant in the puncture. A support member may be advanced to compress the sealant. The device may have a lock that prevents the support member from advancing prematurely. The lock may be unlocked when the sheath is at least partially retracted. The device may have an actuator that controls movement of the sheath and the support member. The lock may remain in a locked position until the sheath is at least partially retracted.

Apparatus and method for sealing a vascular puncture

Single-handed IUD insertion devices, methods and kits are disclosed. The single-handed IUD insertion devices have a plurality of flexing detent arms to control axial movement of the 641 elongated guide and string control slider during use.

An apparatus for sealing a puncture through a vessel wall including a positioning assembly, a sheath releasably engaged with the positioning assembly, and a support member axially advanceable through the sheath. The positioning assembly includes a positioning element positioned at a distal portion of the positioning assembly and a sealant disposed at a distal portion of the positioning assembly. The sheath guides the sealant and positioning assembly to the puncture in the vessel wall.

A proximal section of the closure system can include a handle portion and a sheath adapter extending from the handle portion. The handle portion can comprise one or more actuators that when depressed or engaged can assist in deployment of the sealant in the arteriotomy and can further include tamping of the sealant and/or retraction of an expandable member. The sheath adapter can removably engage a side port or an irrigation line of a standard procedural sheath. When the sheath adapter is secured to the procedural sheath, movement of the closure system can also move the procedural sheath.
