A method and system is provided for enabling spectrum sensing capability in a network having at least one primary user and a plurality of secondary users configured to communicate using a shared spectrum. The methods and systems include receiving values from sensors corresponding to received signal strength from a primary user in one or more frequencies of the shared spectrum. The values are used to interpolate at least one additional value between the sensors. A detection threshold is determined for sensing a signal transmitted from the primary user based on an acceptable amount of interference. The primary user is then determined to be transmitting in the one or more frequencies of the shared spectrum if any of the values received from the plurality of sensors or the at least one additional value interpolated along the path exceeds the detection threshold.

Method and system for providing spectrum sensing capability in a shared network

The present disclosure presents methods, apparatuses, and systems to bolster communication security, and more particularly to utilize a constant time cryptographic co-processor engine for such communication security. For example, the disclosure includes a method for secure communication, comprising receiving encrypted data at a receiving device; obtaining a randomization for at least one bit of the encrypted data; modifying an execution of a cryptographic algorithm on the at least one bit to obtain a randomized cryptographic algorithm based on the randomization; and executing the randomized cryptographic algorithm on the at least one bit of encrypted data to recover original data associated with the encrypted data.

Method and system for constant time cryptography using a co-processor

A decompression engine may include an input configured to receive an input code comprises one or more bits from a bitstream of encoded data, a symbol decoder coupled with the input, where the symbol decoder is configured to calculate, based on the input code, a plurality of candidate addresses each corresponding to a code group. The symbol decoder may further include a group identifier module coupled with the symbol decoder, wherein the group identifier module is configured to identify one of the plurality of code groups corresponding to the input code, and a multiplexer coupled with the group identifier module, wherein the multiplexer is configured to select as a final address one of the plurality of candidate addresses corresponding to the identified code group.
