A garment (e.g., a shirt) for monitoring biometric properties of the wearer of the garment is disclosed. The garment may include sensors for monitoring or assessing biometric properties such as, but not limited to, respiration properties, heart properties, and motion properties. These properties may be assessed together to provide an assessment of vital signs and body position (e.g., three-dimensional body position) of the wearer of the garment.

A garment (e.g., a shirt) for monitoring biometric properties of the wearer of the garment is disclosed. The garment may include sensors for monitoring or assessing the vital signs and body position of the wearer. A processor associated with the garment may provide an output indicative of an assessed condition of the wearer based on the assessed vital signs and the assessed body position of the wearer of the fabric. The garment may include an injector assembly that is used to administer a drug injection to the wearer when the assessed condition indicates that the wearer is in an alert condition.

Pill pack packaging that monitors and reports on pill compliance is disclosed. The pill pack packaging includes a circuit disposed on the cover of pill receptacles. A processor monitors the changes in electrical signals from the circuit. When the electrical signals change, the processor records the time and date. The processor may also report the time and date of pill receptacle opening to a mobile device via wireless transmission. The device may also be capable of providing alerts regarding lack of compliance or loss of the pill pack.

A flexible circuit may be provided that allows for the monitoring of a physical object. The flexible circuit includes a plurality of flexible conductive segments that are disposed in a geometric pattern. The flexible conductive segments include nodes, and the physical object is monitored by analyzing changes in electrical resistance in the conductive segments between the nodes. The flexible circuit may also include sensors disposed on the nodes for monitoring additional conditions. A processor monitors the flexible conductive segments and sensors, and may provide an output regarding the status of the physical object.

The disclosure provides a wireless biometric monitoring system that may be capable of acquiring, compiling, analyzing, and transmitting biometric data in near real time/real time. The system may utilize either the most up-to-date Bluetooth protocol (currently Bluetooth Smart) or a similar wireless protocol. The system may further integrate through this wireless protocol with peripheral devices to expand the measurement capacity of the system. In embodiments, the system may be capable of monitoring multiple biometric responses including, but not limited to: skin temperature, core temperature, respirations, heart rate, predicted tidal volume, chest wall movement, abdominal movement in conjunction with inspiration, abdominal movement in conjunction with expiration, HRR (heart rate reserve), HRV (heart rate variability), body position relevant to perpendicular, shoulder position relevant to hip position, general body posture, up time, down time, and malfunctions.
