A stent graft system includes a first layer of graft material, a second layer of graft material, one or more stent members, one or more reducing belts, and a release wire. The one or more stent members are located between the first layer of graft material and the second layer of graft material. The second layer of graft material is formed to have a corresponding channel over each of the one or more stent members. The one or more reducing belts each include a loop at both ends and each is located in a corresponding channel around a corresponding one of the stent members. The release wire passes through both loops of each of the one or more reducing belts when the one or more stent members are in a compressed state. Pulling the release wire allows for the stent graft system to radially expand.

Stent graft systems with restraints in channels and methods thereof

A locking assembly for releasably coupling a first elongate member to a second elongate member is provided. The locking assembly can include a first lumen for anchoring the locking assembly to a catheter and a second lumen for releasably retaining a guidewire to the locking assembly. A release member can interface with the locking assembly and apply a force that decouples the guidewire from the locking assembly.

A method of treating an aortic aneurysm of a patient with an endovascular graft system and mitigating post implant syndrome associated therewith comprises placing at least one prosthesis across an aneurysmal space. The prosthesis comprises a double-walled filling structure and a stent-graft. The stent graft is radially expanded at a first pressure and the filing structure is filled with a first filing agent to contact a thrombus in the aortic aneurysmal space. After the first filling agent is removed, the filling structure is filled with a second filling agent to contact the thrombus. Next the stent-graft is expanded at a second pressure causing the filing structure to place an effective amount of pressure on the thrombus and substantially mitigating the effects of post implant syndrome associated with the prosthesis.

Modulation of inflammatory response following endovascular treatment

Endovascular systems for deployment at branched arteries include a main tubular graft body deployable within a main artery including a proximal end and an opposed distal end. The proximal and distal ends have a tubular graft wall therein between. A plurality of inflatable channels are disposed along the main tubular graft body, and at least one stent segment is disposed along the tubular graft wall of the main tubular graft body. The plurality of inflatable channels are configured to be inflatable with an inflation medium. The at least one stent segment is disposed between two or more adjacent inflatable channels of the plurality of inflatable channels.

Endovascular graft systems and methods for deployment in main and branch arteries

An apparatus includes a first stent graft that is at least partially insertable into a first blood vessel. The first stent graft has a first end, a second end, an inside surface, and an outside surface. The apparatus also includes an inflatable fill structure fixed to a portion of the outside surface of the first stent graft. The inflatable fill structure includes an outer membrane that is configured to extend beyond the first end of the first stent graft when the inflatable fill structure is in a filled state.

Apparatus for delivering stents to body lumens include one or more tubular prostheses carried at the distal end of a catheter shaft, a sheath slidably disposed over the prostheses, and a guidewire tube extending from within the sheath to the exterior of the sheath through an exit port in a sidewall thereof. A guidewire extends slidably through the guidewire tube. The sheath can be moved relative to the catheter shaft and the guidewire tube to expose the prostheses for deployment. Methods of delivering stents are also provided.

Apparatus and methods for deployment of multiple custom-length prostheses (III)

A fenestrated graft deployment system, with a delivery catheter having a catheter body, a first fenestration alignment device, and an endoluminal prosthesis having a main graft body having a lumen therethrough and a first opening laterally therein. The first fenestration alignment device is configured to extend through at least a portion of the delivery catheter and is configured to be axially moveable relative to the first guidewire. The first fenestration alignment device can cause the main graft body adjacent to the first opening to move with the end of the first fenestration alignment device to allow an operator to align the first opening in the side of the endoluminal prosthesis with an ostium of a target branch vessel into which said first opening is to extend and act as a guide and seal for a subsequently delivered branch graft endoluminal prosthesis.

Apparatus and method of placement of a graft or graft system

Some embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to endoluminal prostheses having one or more reinforced fenestrations therein. The one or more reinforced fenestrations can have improved sealing capabilities with respect to branch grafts deployed within the fenestrations, improved tear resistance and expandability, and improved pull-out resistance for branch grafts. In some embodiments, the endoluminal prosthesis can have a main graft body defining a flow lumen therethrough, a first opening passing through a wall of the main graft body, and a first support member supported by the main graft body and overlapping an edge of the first opening, the first support member being configured to at least increase the tear resistance of the main graft body adjacent to the first opening. The support member can be stitched or otherwise attached to the main graft adjacent to the fenestration.

Fenestrated prosthesis

A luminal prosthesis comprises a plurality of radially expandable prosthetic stent segments arranged axially. Two or more of the prosthetic stent segments are separable upon expansion from the remaining prosthetic stent segments and a coupling structure connects at least some of the adjacent prosthetic stent segments to each other. The coupling structure permits a first group of the adjacent prosthetic stent segments to separate from a second group of the prosthetic stent segments upon differential radial expansion of the first group relative to the second group and the coupling structure maintains or forms an attachment between the adjacent prosthetic stent segments in the first group which have been expanded together. A delivery system and methods for deploying the multiple coupled prosthetic stent segments are also disclosed.
