The embodiments disclosed herein relate to an apparatus for monitoring a valve having a control element, wherein the control element is actuated by an actuator, having: an adaptor between the control element and the actuator, wherein the adaptor couples a valve stem of the control element to the actuator; and an electronics module contained within the adaptor, wherein the electronics module further comprises one or more sensors.

A valve in conjunction with an actuator has a valve position indicator coupled to the actuator. The valve position indicator has an indicator cover mounted over an indicator mounting surface, an array of LED lights arranged on the indicator mounting surface, and a mirror mounted internal and concentric to the indicator cover. A sensor in communication with the actuator and the plurality of LED lights communicates the position of the valve to the plurality of LED lights. The plurality of LED lights may illuminate to indicate an incremental degree that the valve is open, if any, and/or indicate by color the direction that the opening (or respective closing) of the valve is changing. In another embodiment with or without the mirror equiangular spaced single points of light each have one high intensity LED oriented to emit light horizontally and one high intensity LED oriented to emit light vertically.

A device detects objects touching a first object icon representing a folder on a touch sensitive display and then moving in generally opposing directions, where the folder includes a plurality of constituent elements. In response to the detecting, additional object icons are rendered to display on the touch sensitive display, each additional object icon representing a respective constituent element, where the additional object icons are rendered in a pattern around the first object icon. In some examples, a docking system includes a base, a deck having an upper surface to contact a computing device resting upon the deck, wherein the deck includes apertures therethrough, and projections extending upwardly from a surface of the base. The docking system further includes resilient bias elements to bias the deck at a raised position at which the upper surface of the deck extends at or above a height of each of the projections, where the deck is linearly movable from the raised position to a lowered position at which the projections extend through the apertures, the deck being linearly movable without being pivotably coupled to the base.

The disclosure relates to an embodiment of a valve position indicator having an indicator cover having at least one window and a rotor configured to be at least partially within the indicator cover. The rotor has an indicator surface with one or more position indicators wherein at least one of the position indicators is configured to align with the window on the indicator cover, thus indicating the position of a valve. A light may be positioned proximate the rotor and configured to illuminate the position indicator. The valve position indicator may also include an array of LED lights bordering the rim of the indicator cover. The valve position indicator may alternatively include the array of LED lights without the indicator cover.

A docking system includes a base, a deck having an upper surface configured to contact a computing device resting upon the deck, wherein the upper surface includes at least one aperture therethrough, and projections extending upwardly from a surface of the base. The deck is movable along a plane that is inclined with respect to the surface of the base between a first position and a second position, the at least one aperture of the deck when in the first position being located away from the projections such that the deck conceals the projections, and the at least one aperture of the deck when in the second position exposing the projections to allow engagement of the projections with the computing device.

A method comprises detecting two fingers touching a first object icon on a touch sensitive display and then moving in generally opposing directions. The first object icon is associated with on or more constituent elements. In response to such detecting, the method causes additional object icons to appear on the display. Each additional object icon represents a constituent element of the first object icon.

Illuminated valve position indicator

A system and method for document editing. A system includes an operator input device, a processor, gesture recognition program, and an edit mode program. The operator input device that senses gestures and multiple simultaneous touch points. The processor is coupled to the operator input device. The processor executes the gesture recognition program, which recognizes inputs from the input device. The gesture recognition program recognizes a predetermined edit mode gesture and, based only on the gesture, causes the processor to execute the edit mode program. The edit mode program provides a plurality of document editing functions for modifying a currently displayed document.

Embodiments provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for illuminating a plurality of keys. The keys are illuminated in accordance with pattern. In various embodiments, the illumination of the keys is in response to a display control signal.
