A multiphase composite lubricant for a railway lubricant stick that can be used in both low and high temperature applications. The composition of the multiphase composite lubricant includes an amount of a lubricant, an amount of a thermoplastic lattice components that forms a lattice structure, and a polymer extender.

An acoustic panel having rigid, damped faces and an interior layer assembly. The assembly can constructed with minimal layer coupling and common construction adhesives and without the use of mechanical fasteners. The panel is capable of providing significant noise attenuation while maintaining sufficient structural rigidity such that the panel is suitable for a broad range of construction applications.

Pneumatic damper

A rigid structure comprising a lubricant, an absorbent material, and a reinforcing material. The reinforcing material may be comprised of a fibrous and/or a plastic material. The absorbent material is comprised of a fibrous material. The lubricity and wear rate of the rigid structure can be controlled by changing the amount of lubricant contained in the rigid structure in relation to the amount of reinforcing and/or absorbent material contained in the rigid structure. In some embodiments, the lubricity and wear rate of the rigid structure can also be controlled by changing the amount of reinforcing material in relation to the amount of absorbent material.
