A hanger for suspending an object from a supporting surface. An exemplary hanger may include a base mountable to a supporting surface, the base including a hook portion providing an upwardly opening gap, and a receiver pivotably mounted adjacent to a distal edge of the hook portion, the receiver being pivotable between an open position in which the receiver and the gap provide an aperture wider than the gap for receiving a supporting device connected to an object and a closed position in which the receiver substantially overlaps the gap. Some exemplary embodiments may include a magnet mounted to the receiver.

Hand held abrading tools are disclosed. The abrading tools include clamping mechanisms to quickly and reliably secure sanding paper, bristled sheets, polishing cloths, and the like, to the tool, while at the same time providing the operator with increased agility and ability to reach relatively hard to reach or oddly shaped surfaces.

The present disclosure provides a paint applicator which may be used to apply paint to corners, to junctions between adjacent walls, along window trim, along floor moldings, or other surface adjacent to the surface being painted, without smearing paint on the adjacent surface. Moreover, the present disclosure provides a paint applicator having a trim system that prevents the painter's hands from becoming covered with paint upon actuation of trim system.
