A toy gun assembly has at least two, first and second independently operable toy guns. Each of those guns has a body and a shooting mechanism in the body. The toy guns are connectable with each other by means of a connector. The shooting mechanisms of the toy guns are independently operable when the toy guns are connected by the connector.

Toy gun assembly

A wand-type applicator for liquid cosmetic material includes a first housing part carrying an elongated wand of light-transmissive material with a fixed end mounted in or to the housing part and projecting outwardly therefrom to a free end remote from the housing part. The free end carries a pad of absorbent material or other structure for retaining a cosmetic liquid stored or contained in a reservoir in a second housing part which is formed as a vial that is disengageably matable with the first housing part. A selectively-activatable light source such as an LED and an associated power source is mounted in the first housing part so that light emitted from the activated LED enters the fixed end of the wand and diffuses through the wand toward its surface, to thereby illuminate the wand from the interior thereof.

A method and apparatus for generating and emitting a continuous stream of bubbles formed from a supply of bubble liquid directs a first airstream into a supply of bubble liquid to create a froth of bubble liquid in a chamber, directs a second airstream against the froth in the chamber to drive the froth from the chamber through an exit chimney so that a film of the driven bubble liquid froth becomes attached to the exit chimney and the second airstream directed against the attached film creates and inflates a bubble attached to the exit chimney, and directs a third airstream peripherally about the exit chimney to facilitate detachment from the exit chimney of the created and inflated bubble attached to the exit outlet and displacement of the detached bubble away from the exit outlet. A self-contained apparatus incorporates a user-operable generator for creating a primary airstream which is redistributed to form the first, second and third airstreams.

Method and apparatus for generating bubbles

A novelty device having a housing, a sensing element in the housing for sensing a stimulus and for generating an electrical signal in response to the sensed stimulus, a processor in the housing for receiving the corresponding electrical signal and for generating a responsive control signal, and an output producing device for generating in response to the control signal an output suggesting the presence of a living being trying to escape from within the housing. The output may take the form of a simulated voice asking to be &ldquo;let out&rdquo; of the housing, in concurrent combination with a rocking or vibrating or irregular motion of the housing suggesting that the housing is being shaken by the trapped being seeking to escape from within the box.

Stimulus-responsive novelty device

A fiber optic enhanced figurine assembly includes a figurine body having a figurine outer surface, and a bunch of fibers affixed to the figurine body and extending outwardly from the figurine outer surface. The fiber bunch includes a plurality of nonilluminatable fibers extending outwardly at least a first distance from the figurine outer surface. The fiber bunch further includes at least one illuminatable optical fiber that extends outwardly from the figurine outer surface to a second distance less than the first distance of the nonilluminatable fibers. The figurine assembly further includes a light source for selectively illuminating the at least one optical fiber to visually and decoratively enhance the fiber bunch.

Drinking containers having viewable elements. The containers comprise a receptacle portion adapted to receive a liquid and to dispense the liquid to a person, and a sealed compartment having a viewable, actuatable element therein which can be viewed. The drinking containers disclosed herein entertain people observing them. Since the viewable element provides a point of focus for the person drinking the liquid prior to, subsequent to and during drinking, a caregiver providing health or child care to the person will be able to attend to other matters since the person will be entertained by the drinking container.

A ball and paddle toy for generating an illumination effect when activated. The toy includes a paddle having a head portion and a handle portion configured for grasping by a user. A switch operable when a force exceeding a threshold force is applied thereto is connected to the paddle head portion. An elastic cord is connected at one end to the switch and at another end to a ball. An illuminating element is connected to the switch and is activated when the elastic cord applies a force exceeding the threshold force to the switch. When in use, the paddle is used to hit the ball, which causes the cord stretch and apply a force to the switch for activating the illuminating element.

An article of wearing apparel defines a curved mounting surface when worn and includes a decorative, illuminatable assembly affixed over the mounting surface. The decorative assembly includes a soft, flexible panel member having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a peripheral edge surface. The flexible panel member is sufficiently flexible to conform to the curvature of the mounting surface by hand pressure alone and is substantially comprised of a transparent or a translucent material. The flexible panel member defines a cavity in communication with the peripheral edge surface, which cavity is dimensioned and arranged to receive at least one light emitting element. The lower surface of the panel member causes a decorative pattern of refractive grooves dimensioned and arranged to reflect light propagating through the panel member in a plane disposed between its upper and lower surfaces.

Light illuminating assemblies for wearing apparel

A light illuminating assembly having at least one light emitting element is operatively associated with an applied or intended decoration on the exterior of wearing apparel includes an improved assembly for securing the light emitting element thereto without the need for predetermined openings in the fabric of the apparel article for accommodating the light emitting elements. The securing assembly includes a two-piece enclosure for the light emitting element. A first piece of the enclosure has a central bore for receiving the light receiving element and defines a base flange portion which is adapted to contact the exterior surface of the apparel article. A second piece of the enclosure defines a recess dimensioned to receive the base flange portion, with a section of fabric interposed therebetween, in a press-fit locking manner. The electrodes of the light emitting element penetrate the fabric and are pressed into engagement with an electrically conductive pattern formed or carried on the interior surface of the interposed section of fabric.

Light illuminating assemblies for wearing apparel with light element

A toy vehicle includes a vehicle body having at least one substantially transparent portion and an opaque portion. The substantially transparent portion includes a substantially stripe-shaped pattern extending from the front of the vehicle body to the rear sides thereof. The opaque portion is defined as the entire body except for the substantially transparent portion. A plurality of illuminating devices are disposed within the body and proximate the stripe-shaped pattern of the substantially transparent portion so that when each of the illuminating devices emits light, the emitted light is transmitted through the substantially transparent portion for viewing from the exterior side of the body. An operable control circuit causes the lights to be sequentially illuminated along the stripe-shaped pattern, thereby simulating vehicle motion.

Toy vehicle and method of manufacture

A slingshot is operable for propelling a projectile toward a target. The projectile is formed as a body from which a pair of elastic members outwardly and nondetachably extend. The slingshot includes a yoke having first and second substantially upwardly and outwardly extending prongs and a user-graspable handgrip depending downwardly. Each of the prongs carries one of a pair of confrontingly opposed posts that extend outwardly from the prong and on the periphery of which a slot is defined. In use, the elastic members are releasably received in the respective post slots and the projectile is grasped by the user and drawn rearwardly to stretch the elastic members against their elastic urgency. When the projectile is then released, the elastic members contract that propel the projectile toward the target. As the projectile passes between and beyond the yoke prongs, the elastic members are released from the post slots and travel with the projectile body toward the target.
