In one embodiment, a method for processing carbonaceous materials that includes introducing a first source of carbonaceous material as a first feedstock into a mixer. Then, a second source of carbonaceous material is introduced as a second feedstock into the mixer. The second feedstock is one of the outputs of the processing of the carbonaceous materials. These carbonaceous materials are mixed into a single feedstock of carbonaceous materials that is customized into a predetermined material composition, and this predetermined mixture is then pyrolyzed in a pyrolyzer to produce a custom carbonaceous output. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Carbonaceous material processing

A method is disclosed, for producing coke in which at least a first and second source of carbonaceous materials are introduced as feedstock into a mixer. The materials are mixed into a single feedstock, and the single feedstock is analyzed to determine its coking feasibility. The single feedstock is pyrolyzed in a pyrolyzer to produce at least a coke material and a gaseous by-product. At least a portion of the gaseous by-product is used outside of the pyrolyzer. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

Coke processing energy production

Closed apparatus and processes by which carbon feedstock is composed of a mixture of non-coking coal fines and another carbonaceous material, such as waste coke fines, are described. The coal and coke fines are mixed together and may be formed into solid pieces. The mixture alone or as solid pieces is fired through pyrolyzation into solid pieces of coke, with solid and gaseous by-products of pyrolyzation being recycled for use within the coke-producing closed system, thereby reducing or eliminating release of undesirable substances to the environment. A char-forming binder may or may not be added to the carbon mixture prior to pyrolyzation.

Clean production of coke

A liquid antiseptic and cleanser having improved long-term stability includes at least the following principal ingredients: deionized water; silver ion, polypectate, and ethylenediaminetetraaceticacid (EDTA). Presently preferred embodiments of the technology also include glycerine; 1,2-propanediol (a.k.a. propylene glycol); at least one surfactant from any of the families of alkylsulfates, sulfonates, alkanolamides, betaines, amine oxides, sarcosinates and sulfosuccinates; and a buffering compound sufficient to achieve a pH value within a range of 7.2 to 7.8.
