A liquid fragrance composition contains (i) 3 wt % to 40 wt % of a fragrance, (ii) 0.5 wt % to 5 wt % of glyceryl ricinoleate, and (iii) 60 wt % to 95 wt % of water. Also disclosed are consumer products containing such a liquid fragrance composition.

The present invention provides a dispensing device used for the slow controlled dispensing and diffusion of gels and thickened liquids. More particularly, the present invention relates to wick type air freshening devices, which employ a wick to convey materials from an enclosed container by capillary action.

Dispensing device for active gels

Described is a transparent syneresis-free candle which is substantially hydrocarbon-free, e.g., mineral oil-free and paraffin wax-free; substantially stearic acid-free and consistently-maintained functional compositional integrity on use thereof. The candle composition contains a gellant that is an ester-terminated polyamide or a tertiary amide-terminated polyamide, a non-hydrocarbon solvent which is a vegetable-derived fatty acid ester, and a system-compatible functional fragrance composition, an insect repellent composition and/or an air freshener composition. The candle can be a pillar candle which is free-standing or a container candle.

Transparent, vegetable-based, substantially hydrocarbon-free candle article

Described is a substantially rigid aqueous clear gel matrix air freshener article having included therein one or more gel matrix icons, the dimensions of which, on use of the article, decrease in proportion to the dimensions of the body of the air freshener article in which the icons are suspended and imbedded. The article contains water; gel matrix material which can be a hydrolyzed protein gel material such as gelatin or a polysaccharide gel material such as gellan gum; a system-compatible air freshener fragrance composition contained in one or more of the icons and/or contained in the gel matrix air freshener body; and a surfactant contained in the body.
