A system and methods for machine learning driven contouring of cardiac ultrasound data is provided. A system may receive cardiac imaging data generated by an ultrasound device directed at a left ventricle of a heart. The imaging data may include a time dimension and a plurality of spatial dimensions. The system may align the image data with an axis that passes through an apex and base of the left ventricle. The system may predict, based on a machine learning model and the imaging data, locations of a plurality of anchor points over a cardiac cycle. The system may output the predicted locations of the anchor points.

System and methods for machine learning driven contouring cardiac ultrasound data

Poroelastic materials, methods of making such materials, biosensors comprising such materials, and methods of making and using such biosensors. According to one aspect, a poroelastic material is formed by a process that includes depositing a prepolymer composition on a substrate, annealing the prepolymer composition in a pressurized steam environment at a temperature and for a duration sufficient to form a porous medium having a solid matrix formed of a polymer derived from the prepolymer composition, infiltrating the porous medium with a liquid that includes electrically conductive nanomaterials such that the electrically conductive nanomaterials are located within pores of the porous medium, and evaporating the liquid such that the electrically conductive nanomaterials remain in and/or connected through the pores of the porous medium.

Poroelastic materials, biosensors comprising poroelastic materials, and methods of making and using poroelastic materials and biosensors

A system may receive imaging data generated by an imaging device directed at a heart. The system may receive a first input operation indicative of a selected time-frame. The system may display images of the heart based on the intensity values mapped to the selected time-frame. The system may receive, based on interaction with the images, an apex coordinate and a base coordinate. The system may calculate, based on the apex coordinate and the base coordinate, a truncated ellipsoid representative an endocardial or epicardial boundary of the heart. The system may generate a four-dimensional mesh comprising three-dimensional vertices spaced along the mesh. The system may overlay, on the displayed images, markers representative of the vertices. The system may receive a second input operation corresponding to a selected marker. The system may enhance the mesh by adjusting or interpolating vertices across multiple time-frames.

Four-dimensional imaging system for cardiovascular dynamics

An integrated triad system to measure a patient's blood pressure at different body positions, to instruct the patient when to move from one position to the next to alleviate vascular hypertension based on an algorithm stored in the system calculating blood pressure changes and predictive risk, and to transmit the result to a remote medical location. Using the integrated triad system to perform the test over a period can increase test sensitivity by accommodating the variable onset of the disease.

Diagnostic and therapeutic device for compromised vascular hemodynamics analysis

Disclosed herein is a photoacoustic tomography (PAT) probe to direct light to various regions within the tissue of interest to improve image quality and remove cumbersome artifacts at their source. Particularly, a rotating PAT probe and method of using thereof to improve the photoacoustic penetration depth and signal to noise ratio in biological samples. Signal intensity at region of interest is increased by fine-tuning the fiber orientation with respect to the ultrasound transducer. Additional PA filter is used to prevent in vivo probe-skin artifacts.
