A method for processing wagering game e-tickets is described herein. The method can include receiving, from a mobile device over a network, an indication to create an e-ticket. The method can also include determining, by a wagering game server, monetary value information for the e-ticket. The method can also include transmitting, to a ticketing server, the monetary value information; receiving, from the ticketing server, e-ticket information. The method can also include transmitting, over the network, the e-ticket information to the mobile device for generating the e-ticket.

Methods of transferring funds in a cashless wagering system

A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations can include detecting that one or more wearable computers are within a proximity range to a wagering game machine. In some examples, the operations further include determining one or more characteristics associated with the one or more wearable computers in response to the detecting that the one or more wearable computers are within the proximity range to the wagering game machine. In some examples, the operations further include providing a feature associated with a wagering game based on the one or more characteristics of the one or more wearable computers.

A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In embodiments, the operations can include determining content from both a first wagering game application and from a second wagering game application. The first and second wagering game applications can be independent wagering game applications played by a player account during a wagering game session. The operations can further include determining some portion of the second content (e.g., three-dimensional objects) that appears to originate from a second-application domain (e.g., from within confines of the second wagering game application), and presenting the portion of the second content within a first-application domain (e.g., within confines of the first wagering game application). In some embodiments, the operations can further include presenting the portion of the second content interacting with the first content within the first-application domain (e.g., presenting three-dimensional objects from the second application interacting with three-dimensional objects of the first application).

Embodiments of the inventive subject matter include a method comprising: operating a primary controller to present a first wagering game on a gaming terminal, the first wagering game including first content from a first content source; operating a secondary controller to present a second wagering game on the same or another game terminal, the second wagering game including second content from a second content source; accessing, by the second controller, funds from a first credit meter associated with the first wagering game; and electronically routing accessed funds from the first credit meter to a second credit meter associated with the second wagering game to fund one or more wagers for the second wagering game.

Distributing information in a wagering game system

A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations can include detecting a request to pair a mobile device with a secondary content controller that is communicatively coupled to a wagering game machine. In some examples the secondary content controller is independent of a primary content controller for the wagering game machine. The operations can further include determining, by the secondary content controller, that primary wagering game content of the wagering game machine is in a state that would permit secondary wagering on the primary wagering game content. Further, the operations can include pairing the mobile device with the secondary content controller after determining that the primary wagering game content is in the state that would permit the secondary wagering.

In at least some aspects, a method includes the acts of operating a wagering game with a player on a first game platform, suspending the wagering game operating on the first game platform at a game state, automatically authenticating the player at a second game platform different than the first game platform, resuming the wagering game from the game state on the second game platform, and operating the resumed wagering game with the player differently on the second game platform than on the first game platform, the second game platform having one or more different components than the first game platform to cause the wagering game to be operated differently on the second game platform than the first game platform.

A gaming system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations can include controlling a first casino wagering game. The first casino wagering game has a first credit meter balance. The operations can further include intercepting an electronic request sent from a second device to cash out a second credit meter balance for a second casino wagering game controlled by the second device. In some examples, the gaming system is independent from the second device. The operations can further include, after intercepting the electronic request, cashing out a combined total of the first credit meter balance and the second credit meter balance.

Cashing out independent wagering games

A wagering game system and its operations are described herein. In some embodiments, the operations can include intercepting video data from a graphics controller of a wagering game machine. In some instances, the video data depicts wagering game content for a wagering game. In some examples, a first content controller, associated with the wagering game, is configured to cause the graphics controller to generate the video data. The operations can further include performing a graphical analysis of the video data via a second content controller independent from the first content controller. The operations can further include after performing the graphical analysis, modifying the video data via the second content controller. In some examples modifying the video data modifies an appearance of a first portion of the wagering game content without modifying an appearance of a second portion of the wagering game content.

Modifying wagering game graphics

A set of one or more processor units detects occurrence of a first game event during a wagering game presented at a stationary wagering game machine. In response to detecting the occurrence of the first game event, the set of one or more processor units presents a second game event at a portable machine. In addition, a control input may be received at the portable machine. The portable machine communicates an indication of the control input, which causes occurrence of a third game event at the stationary wagering game machine.

In some embodiments, a wagering game machine includes: a carrier board comprising a first network port and a second network port, the first network port having a first network address and the second network port having a second network address; a processor located on the carrier board; a first nonvolatile memory located on the carrier board and communicatively coupled to the first network port, the first nonvolatile memory configured to store the first network address; and a second nonvolatile memory located on the carrier board, wherein the second nonvolatile memory is configured to store Basic Input and Output System (BIOS) code that includes a system BIOS code and an application BIOS code, wherein the BIOS code is hardware write-protected, wherein the processor is configured to derive the second network address from the first network address during execution of boot-up operations of the apparatus.
