Blood testing apparatus

A test device () for testing for the presence of a substance in a sample held on a sample carrier () includes a holder () for holding a sample carrier () which includes one or more chambers (). The test device () also includes an actuator for compressing or depressurizing the chamber(s) (). The actuator is configured to prevent reinflation of the chamber(s) () after compression or depressurization.

The present invention describes a receptacle () for a personal care composition comprising a container (), a separate closure member (), at least one applicator means () for the application of the composition to a user and at least one removal means () for the removal of the composition from a user, wherein: the container comprises a reservoir means for retaining a quantity of composition and an aperture () in an upper portion of said container; and wherein the closure member has a hollow construction and a releasably sealable lid member (), and the interior of the closure member is configured to house the at least one applicator means and the at least one removal means; and wherein securing means () are provided to permit the closure member to be releasably engagable with the container to close the aperture when engaged. The present invention also describes a method of applying a personal care composition.

Receptacle for personal care composition

A bedside cabinet comprises a body () carrying two drawers () and () all made from synthetic plastics material by rotational molding. The body () comprises a proximal wall () and a distal wall () each extending upward from a generally horizontal platform (), and a horizontal top () extending between the proximal wall () and the distal wall (). An upstand () carries a horizontal shelf () extending partly over the top () and both the top () and the shelf () are directed towards the proximal side of the cabinet, having raised lips () and () respectively around their distal edges and their ends. The cabinet lacks dirt traps and is easily cleaned. In addition the drawers () and () are reversible so as to open forwards whether the cabinet is on the right-hand side or the left-hand side of a bed.
