The evacuation assembly may include an evacuation slide having a head portion, a toe portion, a longitudinal axis, a top surface, and a bottom surface. In various embodiments, the longitudinal axis extends centrally along a length of the evacuation slide from the head portion to the toe portion. In various embodiments, a top perimetrical length of the top surface of the toe portion of the evacuation slide in a width direction that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis is less than a bottom perimetrical length of the bottom surface of the toe portion of the evacuation slide in the width direction.

An aircraft evacuation assembly for electricity dispersion may include a composite packboard housing defining a packboard compartment, wherein the composite packboard housing is electrically nonconductive, and a girt mounted to the composite packboard housing and disposed in the packboard compartment. The evacuation assembly may further include a metal stud extending through the composite packboard housing, wherein the metal stud includes a first end portion disposed external to the packboard compartment and a second end portion disposed internal to the packboard compartment in electrical contact with the girt. The evacuation assembly may further include a flexible strip attached to an external surface, relative to the packboard compartment, of the composite packboard housing. The flexible strip may be electrically conductive and the flexible strip may extend between and electrically connect the first end portion of the metal stud and an electrical interface.

An evacuation slide may comprise an arched tube configured to extend between a first side tube and a second side tube of the evacuation slide and a strap configured to be coupled between the arched tube and a center tube of the evacuation slide. The arched tube may be configured to provide vertical support to the first side tube and to the second side tube in response to a tension in the strap. The evacuation slide may comprise a dual lane slide, the first side tube and the center tube defining a first lane and the second side tube and the center tube defining a second lane.

A movement control strap for an off-wing evacuation system is disclosed. The strap is coupled between the ramp and slide, and engages with the edge of the wing. The strap stabilizes the evacuation system by providing a tensioning force to control movement of the ramp and slide. The strap assembly utilizes the edge of the wing as a leverage point for extra tensioning and control of the system.

A method and system to provide an electrical connection and a releasable attachment includes a girt sleeve having a plurality of lacings, wherein at least one lacing of the plurality of lacings is an electrically conductive lacing, and a girt having a plurality of openings to receive the plurality of lacings, wherein the girt sleeve and the girt are in electrical communication via the electrically conductive lacing when releasably attached.
