An apparatus for generating and providing a pressurized breathable gas to a patient's airways includes a respiratory pressure therapy (RPT) device having an engagement port pneumatically and electrically coupled to the RPT device, and an air delivery tube configured to engage the engagement port so as to pass a flow of breathable gas to a patient interface. The air delivery tube includes electric contacts associated with a heating and/or a sensing arrangement. The air delivery tube includes a locking collar rotatably movable between (1) an unlocked position to allow connection/disconnection of the air delivery tube to/from the engagement port, and (2) a locked position to releasably lock the air delivery tube to the engagement port. The air delivery tube is structured and arranged to, when the locking collar is rotated into the locked position, pneumatically connect to the engagement port and define an operational configuration of the apparatus.

Humidification interface arrangements

A respiratory system is configured to pressurize and deliver a flow of respiratory gas to a patient's airways. The respiratory system includes a cushion configured to sealingly engage the patient's face and a blower mounted to the cushion and configured to pressurize a flow of respiratory gas. An interface structure is attached to an outlet of the blower and an aperture in the cushion. The interface structure forms a gas flow path between the cushion and the blower. The gas flow path is configured to deliver the pressurized respiratory gas from the blower through the aperture in the cushion. The gas flow path is also configured to vent exhaled gas from the aperture in the cushion to atmosphere. The respiratory system also includes headgear configured to support the cushion and the blower on the patient's face.

PAP system

A PAP system is adapted for treatment of respiratory disease or sleep disordered breathing. The PAP system includes headgear, a patient interface and a flow generator. The flow generator includes a blower adapted to provide pressurized breathable gas to a patient through the patient interface. The blower is at least partially vibrationally isolated from the patient's head by at least one foam layer mounted within the flow generator to secure the blower. The at least one foam layer is adapted to reduce the amount of transmitted vibration received by the patient. The flow generator further includes a mounting structure limiting an extent of a compression of the at least one foam layer due to the weight of the blower. The mounting structure includes at least one protrusion extending from an interior surface of the flow generator toward the blower.

A kit including a device which provides breathable gas to a patient and a specific facing, the device including a unit which provides a flow of breathable gas, a processor which drives the unit, and a receiving region which receives the specific facing. The unit and the processor provide the breathable gas in at least two different modes of operation, and a specific mode of operation can be selected out of the at least two modes by attaching the specific facing onto the receiving region.

Device for providing breathable gas

Systems, devices and methods of use adapted for treatment of respiratory disease or sleep disordered breathing include a patient interface () adapted to be secured to and sealed against a portion of a patient's face, in use. A flow generator is adapted to be connected to the patient interface and to be secured by a portion of the patient's body. The flow generator includes a blower () adapted to provide pressurized breathable gas to a patient through the patient interface. The blower is adapted to be at least partially vibrationally isolated from the patient's body by at least one dampening system () or device. The dampening device or system is adapted to reduce the amount of transmitted vibration received by the patient. A PAP system includes a patient interface including sealing arrangement () adapted to form a seal with the patient's nose and/or mouth and headgear () to support the sealing arrangement in position on the patient's head. A blower is structured to generate a supply of pressurized air. The blower is supported by the patient interface on the patient's head and in communication with the patient interface. The headgear forms one or more ducts () to communicate pressurized air from the blower to a breathing cavity defined by the sealing arrangement.

A grader blade assembly for mounting a blade to a grader comprises at least one bearing plate which reduces vibration of the blade during use and wherein at least one shim is used to reposition the bearing plate as it is subjected to wear. A grader blade assembly may alternatively or additionally include at least one bearing pad which reduces vibration of the blade during use and wherein at least one shim is used to reposition the bearing pad as it is subjected to wear. The shims are flexible and can conform to the contour of the bearing plate or pad and are of the same shape as the plate or pad with which it is to be used.
