A building management system (BMS) includes one or more memory devices having instructions stored thereon. When executed by one or more processors, the instructions cause the processors to perform operations including ingesting semantic information associated with a plurality of BMS objects, classifying the plurality of BMS objects into a plurality of predetermined classifications that pertain to the plurality of BMS objects using the semantic information, updating a semantic site model for a building site by including at least one of the semantic information associated with the plurality of BMS objects or the plurality of predetermined classifications that pertain to the plurality of BMS objects, and adjusting a plurality of parameters associated with the plurality of BMS objects using the semantic site model.

Building management system with semantic model integration

A method for determining updates in a building management system (BMS) is shown. The method includes receiving, via an on premise server, configuration data associated with at least part of the BMS. The method includes storing the configuration data within a cloud server communicably coupled with the on premise server. The method includes determining, via a difference engine within the cloud server, information comprising a delta between the configuration data and one or more previous sets of configuration data stored within the cloud server. The method includes providing, to the on premise server, the information to an interface.

A building management system (BMS) includes memory devices having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by processors, cause the processors to perform operations including obtaining a BMS ontology data model defining a plurality of BMS model classes and relationships between the BMS model classes, assigning a BMS model class selected from the plurality of BMS model classes to a plurality of BMS object definitions, generating a semantic site model by classifying a plurality of BMS objects associated with a building site according to the BMS object definitions and the BMS model classes assigned thereto, and transmitting a notification using the semantic site model.
