A wireless process variable transmitter for use in an industrial process includes a process variable sensor configured to sense a process variable of the industrial process and provide a process variable sensor output. A battery power source includes a plurality of battery power banks each having a primary cell battery, a low voltage cut-off circuit electrically connected to the primary cell battery which provides an electrical connection to the primary cell battery while a voltage of the primary cell battery is above a threshold, and an ideal diode having an input electrically connected to the primary cell battery through the low voltage cut-off and providing a power bank output. A power sharing node has an input connected to the battery power bank output of each of the plurality of battery power banks and having a shared power output which provides power to circuitry of the wireless process variable transmitter.

Wireless process variable transmitter with battery power source

An industrial transmitter assembly includes an industrial transmitter and a transmitter mount. The transmitter includes electronics contained in a housing. The transmitter mount is configured to attach the housing to a structure and includes a stem member, an adaptor and a locking member. The stem member includes a first end connected to the housing of the transmitter, and a second end having a flange or a first twist-lock connector. The adaptor is configured for attachment to the structure and includes a base member having a slot configured to receive the flange or a second twist-lock connector configured to attach to the first twist-lock connector. The locking member is configured to secure the second end of the stem to the base member.

Universal industrial transmitter mounting

A wireless field device for use in monitoring acoustic noise includes an acoustic sensor configured to sense acoustic noise. Processing circuitry coupled to the acoustic sensor is configured to identify a hazardous noise condition based upon the sensed acoustic noise and a personnel noise exposure standard. Output circuitry provides a warning output in response to an identified noise condition. A system is also provided which uses one or more acoustic sensors implemented in wireless field mounted monitors.

Industrial audio noise monitoring system

An acoustic measurement system for an industrial process asset includes a process measurement device providing a value representative of an acoustic signal near the industrial process asset based in part on a signal from an acoustic sensor positioned near the industrial process asset. A second acoustic sensor provides an acoustic value and a noise reduction component uses the acoustic value from the second acoustic sensor to affect the value provided by the process measurement device so that the value provided by the process measurement device is more representative of an acoustic signal generated by the industrial process asset.

Acoustic detection in process environments

A gauge system comprises a sensor that produces a sensor signal as a function of a sensed parameter. The gauge system also comprises a motor and a gauge having a scale and a movable indication needle that is driven by the motor and displays a measurement value of the sensed parameter based upon position of the needle relative to the scale. The gauge system further includes a position sensor that produces a position feedback signal representative of a sensed position of the needle and a controller that provides drive commands to the motor based on the sensor signal and the position feedback signal.

Gauge display system

A measurement transmitter includes a main housing body with a first cavity closed by a first cover and a second cavity closed by a second cover. A measurement circuit assembly in the first cavity includes power and service communication conductors that extend through the main housing body to contacts in the second cavity. A replaceable module plugs into the contacts in the second cavity and includes a primary battery and a service communication connector. The service communication connector is exposed for connection to service equipment by removal of the second cover.
