A magnetic field monitor includes a magnetic field sensor that generates an electronic signal at a time period representing a magnetic field of the environment and includes a sensor transducer having a sensor bobbin, a primary coil, a secondary, over-winding coil, a sensor circuit, a controller connected to the primary coil, and a digitally controlled potentiometer connected to the secondary coil and controller. A non-linear output is converted to a quantitative linear output.

Magnetic field monitor having automated quantitative calibration of magnetic field sensor

A security portal includes magnetic field sensors in a sensor assessment network (SAN) for tracking a magnetic dipole target. Each sensor includes a sensor transducer, a sensor coil, and a digitally controlled potentiometer. A sensor controller applies a stepped voltage, samples an output frequency at each stepped voltage value, generates a magnetic sensor response curve, and converts a non-linear response of the sensor transducer to a magnetic field value for each x, y and z channel as a function of frequency for a specific potentiometer setting based upon the sensed magnetic dipole that is tracked in the security portal. A SAN controller receives the magnetic field values from each channel and determines the magnetic field vectors of the target over each sample.

Sensor assessment network using magnetic field sensors

A sensor event assessor trainer and integrator is disclosed. In one embodiment, a sensor event assessor assesses any event detected by at least two sensors and provides assessment information about the event. A different event detection system provides an input regarding an event. A collaborator combines the assessment information with the different event detection system input to generate a user recognizable output for presenting the integrated event information.

Sensor event assessor training and integration

A self-calibrating magnetic field monitor is disclosed. In one embodiment, a magnetic field sensor repeatedly generates an electronic signal related to the magnetic field. In addition, a calibration module generates a relative baseline signal based on an average value of the electronic signals for a given time period. A comparator compares the electronic signal with the relative baseline signal and generating an output signal if a difference in the comparing is greater than or equal to a threshold.

Self-calibrating magnetic field monitor

A sensor event assessor input/output controller is disclosed. In one embodiment, a multi-channel sensor input configuration provides two-way communication with a plurality of sensors, each of the plurality of sensors having its own channel. An electronic signal receiver receives electronic signals from one or more of the plurality of sensors at a pre-defined sample rate. A signal combiner bundles the electronic signals from one or more of the plurality of sensors into a single electronic signal. A single channel output is used to provide the single electronic signal to the sensor event assessor.

Sensor event assessor input/output controller

A dynamically self-adjusting magnetometer is disclosed. In one embodiment, a first sample module periodically generates an electronic signal related to at least one magnetic field characteristic of a monitored environment. A second sample module periodically generates an electronic signal related to at least one magnetic field characteristic of a monitored environment. A summing module sums the absolute value of the electronic signal from the first sample module and the electronic signal from the second sample module. A delta comparator module receives the electronic signals from each of the first sample module, the second sample module and the summing module and compares each of the electronic signals with a previously received set of electronic signals to establish a change, wherein an output is generated if the change is greater than or equal to a threshold.

Dynamically self-adjusting magnetometer

A biometric database corroborator is disclosed. In one embodiment, a biometric digital representation receiver receives a biometric digital representation representative of an individual. A biometric information gatherer collects biometric data from a first biometric database and at least a second different biometric database. A biometric comparator compares the biometric digital representation representative of the individual with the biometric data gathered from the first biometric database and at least the second different biometric database, the biometric comparator utilizing a predefined match percentage threshold to determine a match. A result provider provides a result from the biometric comparator in a tangible user output.

Biometric database collaborator

A dynamically self-adjusting sensor is disclosed. In one embodiment, a sample module repeatedly generates an electronic signal related to a characteristic of an environment. A window module receives the electronic signal and provides an average signal for a pre-defined number of the electronic signals. A delta comparator module receives the electronic signal from the sample module and compares the electronic signal with a previously received electronic signal from the sample module to establish a change, wherein an output is generated if the change is greater than or equal to a threshold, the delta comparator module further receives the average signal from the window module and compares the average signal with a previously received average signal from the window module to establish an average change, wherein the output is generated if the change is greater than or equal to a threshold.
