A computing system and platform uses various types of data stores to allow efficient querying of, and accelerated access to, extremely large data sets. One such data store is a dimension store that combines key-value and columnar stores, access to which is provided by several selectable mechanisms chosen based the nature of the data of interest. These include bitmap-based access, us of an optimized columnar data format, and access via namespace identifiers. A compressed, optimized page data format is provided for storing and analyzing large fact-based data. The complex dimension store is used to provide complex relationships and interpretation of the fact-based data, enabling high-performance advanced queries, with bitmap indexes passed between the two stores. Dimension data is stored in an encrypted manner throughout the system, and can be exchanged among parties in a secure manner.

High performance big data computing system and platform

A relational database replication system includes a client, at least one primary database, a plurality of secondary databases and replication agents which coordinate database transactions. The system provides a high level of performance, reliability, and scalability with an end result of efficient and accurate duplication of transactions between the primary and secondary databases. In one implementation, the client transmits sets of database update statements to the primary database and primary agent in parallel; the primary agent replicates the statements to at least one secondary agent. A transaction prepare and commit process is coordinated between the primary database and the primary agent, which in turn coordinates with the at least one secondary agent. Databases can be partitioned into individual smaller databases, called shards, and the system can operate in a linearly scalable manner, adding clients, databases and replication agents without requiring central coordination or components that cause bottlenecks.

Scalable relational database replication

A system and method for managing contact information is provided. In one implementation, for example, a method comprises accessing a contact record associated with a user of a user communication device, the contact record comprising at least one originating identifier identifying the user communication device and at least one contact field identifying contact information of a contact associated with the user. A contact record map is generated in which an alias identifier is assigned for the contact record. A destination identifier is selected from a plurality of available destination identifiers and assigned to the contact associated with the user. The assigned destination identifier is unique with respect to other contacts associated with the user. The alias identifier and the destination identifier are to the origination identifier identifying the user communication device within the contact record map.

Contact management and communication

A system for modularizing a business application, the system including a computer having a first computer-readable medium encoded with a browser and an application server. The browser manages a user presentation interface for the business application and is configured to support client-side scripting. The application server is coupled to the computer and includes a second computer-readable medium that is encoded with a server-side script processing engine for processing scripts submitted by the browser and a Module Controller Servlet for opening, closing and managing at least one Module associated with the business application. A Module is a dynamic, configurable software element which includes at least one Extension component and a Data Store. The Extension component defines at least one particular business method function associated with the business application and is invoked as required by the business application. The Data Store includes at least one associated data set which contains data associated with the business application.
