A diagnostic support for a skin includes a radio-transparent structure that defines a folding surface of the skin and on which the skin may be stretched and consequently folded, thereby defining folded, mutually superimposed portions spaced apart from each other. The support may be used for radiographic inspection of a folded animal skin.

An anchoring device for anchoring a floating object to an anchor structure, including a first attachment suitable for being secured to the floating object; a second attachment for being secured to the anchor structure; a damping member for damping the relative motion between the attachments for securing the first attachment to the second attachment and including a slide chamber, a piston for sliding in the slide chamber according to a relative motion between the attachments and a damper for damping the sliding of the piston in the slide chamber; and a control unit including a measurement sensor for measuring the sliding of the piston; and a control board for varying the damping of the damper according to the sliding of the piston detected by the measurement sensor.

Anchoring device

In a first aspect, the invention is directed to a vehicle latch including a ratchet, a main pawl, a cam, and at least one auxiliary pawl, wherein a secondary engagement is provided between the cam and the at least one auxiliary pawl in case a primary engagement between the cam and at least one auxiliary pawl is missed. In a particular embodiment of the first aspect, the ratchet is movable between a ratchet open position wherein the ratchet is positioned to receive a striker and a ratchet locking position wherein the ratchet is positioned to retain the striker. The ratchet is biased towards the ratchet open position. The main pawl is movable between a main pawl locking position wherein the main pawl is positioned to hold the ratchet in the ratchet locking position and a main pawl release position wherein the main pawl permits the movement of the ratchet out of the ratchet locking position. The main pawl is biased towards the main pawl locking position. The cam is operatively connected to the main pawl. The cam is movable between at least two main pawl enabling positions in which the main pawl is enabled to move to the main pawl locking position, and a main pawl disabling position in which the cam positions the main pawl in the main pawl release position. The cam is biased towards the main pawl disabling position. The at least one auxiliary pawl is movable to hold the cam in each of the at least two main pawl enabling positions and movable to permit the cam to move to the main pawl disabling position.

An automotive door lock having a lock mechanism () for releasably engaging a striker (), and a release mechanism () interacting with the lock mechanism () to release the lock (). The release mechanism () has a control member () which interacts with the lock mechanism (), is loaded elastically into a rest position, and can be set to a work position to release the lock (). The release mechanism () has an actuating member () activated selectively to move the control member (), in a forward movement, from the rest position to the work position; and, during a return movement of the control member () to the rest position, the control member () and the actuating member () are disconnected to minimize the time taken to complete the return movement.
