The invention provides a light generating system () configured to generate in a first operational mode of the light generating system () system light (), wherein: the system light () in the first operational mode has a spectral power distribution with at least 85% of the spectral power in three emission bands () comprising (i) a first emission band () having a centroid wavelength of 445 nm +/−25 nm and having a full width half maximum of at maximum 25 nm, (ii) a second emission band () having a centroid wavelength of 541 nm +/−25 nm and having a full width half maximum of at maximum 150 nm, and (iii) a third emission band () having a centroid wavelength of 614 nm +/−25 nm and having a full width half maximum of at maximum 25 nm; in the first operational mode the light generating system () is configured to control the spectral power distribution of the system light () in dependence of a radiant flux of the system light () while maintaining a correlated color temperature of the system light () within +/−10% of a predetermined correlated color temperature value; and in the first operational mode the light generating system () is configured to shift a color point () of the system light () towards a lower Dwith decreasing radiant flux of the system light () or to shift the color point () of the system light () towards a higher Dwith increasing the radiant flux of the system light ().

Light generating system

A method comprises obtaining () media content information, e.g. media content, determining () a first color value based on a color value extracted from a current frame of the content, determining () one or more second color values based on one or more color values extracted from a plurality of previous sequential frames of the content and adjusting () a first weight for weighting the first color value in a calculation of an average color, one or more second weights for weighting the one or more second color values in the calculation of the average color, and/or the one or more second values upon detecting () a transition in the content. The present disclosure proposes an improved apparatus and method for counting of sea lice by providing a stable and controlled light environment which ensures counting of sea lice reliably and independent of weather conditions and an optimized spectral power distribution and intensity of the light for improved observation (detectability) of sea lice with respect to fish skin. An embodiment of the disclosed light system comprises multiple LEDs, at least two LEDs providing a light colour with peaks in the range 490-540 nm (Cyan/Green) respectively 620-660 nm (Red).

Reading a partly written writable record carrier having a track structure for positioning the write head above unwritten areas of the track pattern by means of a reading device which positions the read head on the basis of written marks, yields problems when an isolated information block after an unwritten area must be read. A system is disclosed for writing and reading information blocks on a record carrier of a writable type such as a CD-RW or a DVD-RAM. The writing device is provided with status means for generating status information which is indicative of the fact that at least one area of the record carrier has been written, while the status information comprises initial-area information which is indicative of an uninterrupted written initial area which extends from the start of a track pattern area intended for writing information blocks. The status information can be fixed on the record carrier. A reading device is also described, in which the positioning is dependent on the status information. Reading instructions with addresses outside the initial area can be rejected or translated via an address translation table into addresses in the initial area.

An image display apparatus including a display device for displaying an image by emission of display light in a first direction; a scattering layer disposed in front of the display device, for scattering at least a portion of ambient light; a transparent plate-shaped light source, arranged parallel to the scattering layer and being optically coupled to the scattering layer. The plate-shaped light source may be a passive light source, in which case at least one light source is arranged along an edge of the plate-shaped light source. When the display device is ON, the scattering layer and the plate-shaped light source are transparent.
