A disposable absorbent article may include a chassis that includes a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent core disposed between the topsheet and the backsheet; and a leg gasketing system and a waist gasketing element. The leg gasketing system may include an inner cuff and an outer cuff; the inner cuff may include an inner cuff folded edge and an inner cuff material edge and the outer cuff may include an outer cuff material edge such that the web of material is folded outward to form the inner cuff folded edge. When tested by the Blowout Method Test as described herein, the disposable absorbent article has a Blowout Percent Leakage of less than about 9.0%.

Absorbent article with waist gasketing element and leg cuffs

The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a topsheet, a backsheet and absorbent core positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core comprises an absorbent material positioned within a core wrap. The absorbent core defines a first channel therein. A material is positioned at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the core wrap. The material defines a second channel therein.

Absorbent articles with channels

The present disclosure is directed, in part, to an absorbent article comprising a liquid management system (LMS) and an absorbent core disposed at least partially intermediate a topsheet and a backsheet. The LMS defines one or more channels therein. The one or more channels of the LMS may at least partially overlap or not overlap with channels defined in the absorbent core.

An absorbent article includes a liquid permeable, apertured topsheet, a liquid impermeable backsheet, an absorbent core disposed at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet, and an acquisition material disposed at least partially intermediate the topsheet and the absorbent core. The acquisition material has a caliper in the range of about 2.5 mm to about 10 mm, according to the Caliper Test, and an Air Permeability in the range of about 5,000 l/m/s to about 11,000 l/m/s, according to the Air Permeability Test. The acquisition material has a first surface, a second surface, and a plurality of three-dimensional features extending outwardly from the first surface or the second surface.
