New CCrandom copolymer (RACO), which shows improved sealing behaviour due to low sealing initiation temperature (SIT) and high hot tack force. In addition, the inventive CCrandom copolymer (RACO) shows an excellent sterilization behaviour, i.e. retention of low haze level after sterilization. The present invention is furthermore related to the manufacture of said CCrandom copolymer (RACO) and to its use.

CCrandom copolymer

The present invention relates to polypropylene compositions having a meltflow rate MFRof 75 to 250 g/10 min suitable especially for injection moulding applications comprising a heterophasic propylene copolymer and a particulate inorganic nucleating agent, a process for producing said polypropylene composition, an article comprising said polypropylene composition and the use of said polypropylene composition for injection molding of articles.

High flow polypropylene composition for injection moulding applications

A heterophasic polypropylene composition (C) comprising: a. 60.0 to 85.0 wt.-% of a first heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer (HECO1), having: i. 75.0 to 92.0 wt.-% of a CRYSTEX QC crystalline fraction (CF); ii. 8.0 to 25.0 wt.-% of a CRYSTEX QC soluble fraction (SF); iii. an IV(SF) of 2.00 to 4.00 dl/g; b. 5.0 to 20.0 wt.-% of a second heterophasic propylene ethylene copolymer (HECO2), having i. 15.0 to 30.0 wt.-% of a CRYSTEX QC soluble fraction (SF); ii. an IV(SF) of 2.5 to 5.0 dl/g; and c. 5.0 to 20.0 wt.-% of a polymer of ethylene (PE), being selected from an ethylene-based plastomer and an LDPE, having a density in the range from 895 to 925 kg/m; wherein the heterophasic polypropylene composition (C) has an MFR2 in the range from 15.0 to 40.0 g/10 min, and 5.0 to 23.0 wt.-% of a CRYSTEX QC soluble fraction (SF).

CCrandom copolymer composition

New CCrandom copolymers, which combine low sealing initiation temperature (SIT), high hot-tack, low C6-solubles, good optical properties and an improved stiffness/impact balance, which are particularly suited for preparing blown films. The present invention is furthermore related to the manufacture of said copolymers and to their use, as well as to the blown films comprising such CCrandom copolymers.

C2C3 random copolymer

A propylene butylene polymer composition comprising A) a propylene butylene copolymer or a propylene butylene ethylene terpolymer which is&#x2014;free of phthalic acid esters as well as decomposition products thereof; &#x2014;obtained by a Ziegler-Natta catalyst and B) a mixture of at least one particulate and at least one soluble nucleating agent, whereby the propylene butylene polymer composition has&#x2014;a MFR (2.16 kg/210&#xb0; C.) in the range of 12 to 50 g/10 min&#x2014;a tensile modulus (measured on injection moulded test specimens in accordance with ISO 527) of more than 1200 MPa&#x2014;a Tm of more than 150&#xb0; C.&#x2014;an amount of xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of less than 7.0 wt.-% and whereby the propylene butylene copolymer includes monomer units derived from a) propylene in an amount of 91-96 wt.-% b) butylene in an amount of 4-9 wt.-% with respect to the total weight of the propylene butylene copolymer. or wherein the propylene butylene ethylene terpolymer includes monomer units derived from a) propylene in an amount of 90-96 wt.-% b) butylene in an amount of 4-9 wt.-% c) ethylene in an amount of not more than 1.0 wt.-% with respect to the total weight of the propylene butylene ethylene terpolymer.

Nucleated C3C4 copolymers and nucleated C3C4C2 terpolymers

The present invention is directed to a heterophasic polypropylene composition of high transparency based on excellent compatibility of the propylene 1-hexene random copolymer used as matrix with different types of external modifiers dispersed within the matrix. The present invention is further directed to a process for producing such a polypropylene composition and to a film, in particular a cast film, obtained from such a polypropylene composition. The polypropylene composition comprising a blend of a propylene copolymer comprising 2.5 to 12.0 wt % of 1-hexene as a comonomer, and having a melt flow rate MFRof 0.1 to 100 g/10 min, and an ethylene homo- or copolymer having a melt flow rate MFRof 0.05 to 30.0 g/10 min and a density of 850 to 920 kg/m, wherein the melt flow rate MFRof the polypropylene composition is from 1.0 to 12.0 g/10 min.

Heterophasic polypropylene with propylene hexene random copolymer as matrix

The present invention relates to a polyolefin composition, the use of the polyolefin composition in a compound with one or more virgin polymers for automotive articles or applications, pipes or profiles for construction applications, the use of a heterophasic polypropylene (HECO) as compatibilizer for polyolefin blends A) between a copolymer of ethylene and one or more C4 to C19 alpha olefin B) and a reinforcing mineral filler D) as well as a process for producing the polyolefin composition.

PP-rich material composition having high stiffness and processability

The present invention provides a soft multimodal random heterophasic polypropylene composition (m-Raheco) with improved stiffness and impact behaviour while maintaining optical properties. The multimodal random heterophasic polypropylene composition (m-Raheco) is suitable as material for injection moulding, e.g. for thin walled injection moulded articles. The present invention also describes specific propylene random copolymers as modifiers or compatibilizers in polyolefins and their according use.

Injection molded article comprising at least 60 wt.-% of a heterophasic propylene copolymer, said polymer comprises a matrix being a polypropylene, said polypropylene comprises at least three polypropylene fractions, the three polypropylene fractions differ from each other by the melt flow rate and at least one of the three polypropylene fractions has a melt flow rate in the range of 1.0 to 20.0 g/10 min, and an elastomeric propylene copolymer dispersed in said matrix, wherein said heterophasic propylene copolymer has a melt flow rate of equal or more than 20.0 g/10 min and the amorphous phase of the xylene cold soluble fraction of the heterophasic propylene copolymer has an intrinsic viscosity of equal or higher than 2.0 dl/g.
