In example implementations, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes an interface, an inheritance engine, an anomaly detection module and a processor. The interface communicates with a sensor array. The inheritance engine is used to create a model of the sensor array based on information collected from the each one of a plurality of nodes in the sensor array over the interface. The anomaly detection engine is used to monitor the sensor array in accordance with the model to detect an anomaly and initiate a corrective action to correct the anomaly in two or more of the plurality of nodes within the sensor array simultaneously. The processor is in communication with the inheritance engine and the anomaly detection engine is used to execute instructions associated with the inheritance engine and the anomaly detection engine.

Monitoring a sensor array

Examples associated with data validation are disclosed. One example includes a sensor attribute data store having information describing attributes of a set of distributed sensors. A pattern data store stores information describing patterns indicating anomalous sensor activity. A data aggregation module flags data received from a tested sensor as anomalous data when the anomalous data exceeds a variance level described by an attribute of the tested sensor. A data validation module validates the anomalous data by comparing the anomalous data to the patterns indicating anomalous sensor activity. A learning module updates the pattern indicating anomalous sensor activity based on a result received from the validation logic after the validation logic validates data received from the tested sensor.

Data validation

An apparatus, system, and method for facilitating communication handing of a terminating communication, terminating or originating, at a mobile station. User preferences are entered and stored at a database. When a terminating communication is subsequently initiated, the stored preferences are accessed, and instructions are provided to the mobile station to cause communication termination in conformity with the stored preferences.

System and method for controlling handling of terminating a communication

In certain embodiments, a method for managing delivery of electronic messages includes receiving an electronic message, the electronic message having an intended recipient, and analyzing the electronic message to determine a priority for the electronic message. The method further includes determining, based on the determined priority for the electronic message; whether to deliver the electronic message to the intended recipient at the current time. If it is determined, based on the determined priority for the electronic message, that the electronic message should be delivered to the intended recipient at the current time, delivery of the electronic message to the intended recipient is initiated.

Managing delivery of electronic messages

An electronic map device apparatus, and an associated method, creates a route between a route source and a route destination for display at the electronic map device. Locations, area, and features that a user does not desire to encounter during travel along the route are identified and form exclusion information. The exclusion information is entered by way of a user interface. The exclusion information is utilized in the formation of the selected route. A mapping that identifies the selected route is displayed at a display device of the user interface.

Apparatus, and associated method, for planning and displaying a route path

In certain embodiments, a system for automated distribution and indexing of prepaid calling card information comprises a central terminal operable to receive a request to purchase prepaid telephone services from an initiating terminal. The request comprises an identifier of a financial account to be used to purchase the prepaid telephone services. The central terminal is operable to electronically seek authorization for the request, initiate electronic debiting of the financial account using the identifier, and log a transaction indicating a purchase of prepaid telephone services in response to receipt of the authorization. The central terminal is operable to initiate electronic transmission, according to purchaser contact information, of calling card information from the central terminal to at least one electronic storage medium for access by a purchaser. The calling card information provides access to the prepaid telephone services instead of using a telephone card or printed receipt to obtain the prepaid telephone services.

Automated distribution and indexing of prepaid calling card information

An apparatus, and an associated method, detects spam and other fraudulent messages sent to a recipient station. The textual portion of a received message is analyzed to determine whether the message includes errors made by non-native language speakers when authoring a text message. A text analysis engine analyzes the text using rules sets that identify grammatical errors made by non-native language speakers, usage errors made by non-native language speakers, and other errors.

Apparatus, and associated method, for detecting fraudulent text message

In certain embodiments, a method for quantitative alignment of business offerings with the expectations of a business prospect includes accessing a novelty indicator for an offering, the novelty indicator being based on one or more characteristics of the offering and rating an innovation level of the offering. The method further includes accessing an innovation perception indicator for a prospect of the offering, the innovation perception indicator providing an indication of how the prospect views innovation. The method further includes comparing the novelty indicator for the offering with the innovation perception indicator for the prospect to determine if the offering is aligned with the expectations of the prospect. In certain embodiments, the method includes generating a recommendation, possibly in the form of a report, based on the comparison of the novelty indicator for the offering and the innovation perception indicator for the prospect.
