A method for producing a multi-part cooling plate may including joining a flat component and a channel component. The flat component and the channel component may be formed from aluminum. The method may include forming a coolant conducting channel structure. Following the joining of the flat component with the channel component, the cooling plate may be cold worked, which may increase the strength and the flatness of the cooling plate.

A method for producing a heat exchanger having tubes that are each received at a longitudinal end side in an associated header, the tubes and the headers are formed out of aluminium. The method may include soldering the tubes and the headers to one another to form a coolant-conducting channel structure, and cold-forming the heat exchanger following the soldering of the tubes to the headers such that strength is thereby increased.

Method for producing a heat exchanger

A method for producing a heat exchanger is disclosed. The method includes a) providing two heat exchanger plates of the heat exchanger that are to be joined to one another; b) wetting at least one common local joining zone of the two heat exchanger plates with solder; c) forming the heat exchanger by brazing the two heat exchanger plates via local heating of the at least one common joining zone.

A process for manufacturing hard-soldered aluminum heat exchangers is provided. For heat exchangers which are provided with flat tubes of a narrow interior with, known soldering processing operating with a fluxing agent cannot be used or can only be used with extreme difficulty. For such flat tubes, and optionally for turbulence inserts which can be slid into such flat tubes, certain materials and coatings are provided which result in a soldered connection in the tube interior where, according to the new process, no fluxing agent is used.
