The present disclosure relates to a RF scanner system for mobile network testing. The scanner system comprises a switched directional antenna assembly, an RF receiver, and a positioning antenna assembly. The assembly includes several directional antennas oriented in different directions. The directional antennas are connected to at least one switch that is controlled by the RF receiver. The assembly is configured to receive a GNSS signal. The RF receiver is configured to receive the GNSS signal from the assembly. The RF receiver is configured to record information of the switching state of the switch. The RF receiver is configured to gather information of the position and/or bearing. The RF receiver is configured to combine the information of the switching state, a baseband signal and the information of the position and/or bearing, thereby generating output metadata. Further, a method of mobile network testing is described.

The intermediate shared wall has an opening that provides a passage between the spaces. The surfaces include absorber material. Inner walls of the chamber portions comprise absorber material. The method further comprises milling a concave parabolic frontal surface into the first workpiece in accordance with the axis of symmetry. The method further comprises milling a peripheral surface into the first workpiece with respect to the axis of symmetry. The method further comprises providing four second workpieces. The method further comprises milling a frontal surface into the respective second workpiece. The method further comprises milling a peripheral surface into the respective second workpiece. The method further comprises merging the first workpiece and the second workpieces to form a rectangular main body, wherein the peripheral surfaces abut seamlessly with one another and the frontal surfaces merge seamlessly into one another.

The present disclosure relates to a radio frequency (RF) measurement system and a method for recording baseband and positioning data. The RF measurement system includes at least one RF measurement device. The RF measurement device includes at least one RF chain and at least one data processing circuit connected to a memory device. The RF measurement device is configured to receive a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signal. The GNSS signal is indicative of a position and/or a bearing. The RF measurement device is configured to receive at least one analog RF signal different of the GNSS signal. The RF measurement device is configured to convert the at least one analog RF signal into at least one baseband signal. The at least one data processing circuit is configured to store baseband data associated with the baseband signal and positioning data associated with the GNSS signal within the memory device.

Radio frequency measurement system and a method for recording baseband and positioning data

The present disclosure provides an over-the-air measurement system for testing a device under test. The over-the-air measurement system includes an orthomode transducer (OMT) assembly having several separately formed orthomode transducer components that form at least two orthomode transducers. The orthomode transducer assembly has at least two output interfaces for feed antennas. Each of the at least two output interfaces is connected with one dedicated orthomode transducer. Two input interfaces are associated with each of the orthomode transducers. Each of the input interfaces merge into a corresponding waveguide transition that ends up in the respective orthomode transducer that is associated with the corresponding input interface. The several orthomode transducer components are stacked together linearly.

Over-the-air measurement system

A test system for testing a device under test is provided including at least one feed antenna, a shielded chamber, and at least a first reflector and a second reflector. The test system is a compact antenna test range. The first reflector and the second reflector are arranged inside the shielded chamber. The first reflector is configured and arranged such that it redirects outgoing test signals emitted by the at least one feed antenna towards the second reflector and incoming test signals coming from the second reflector towards the at least one feed antenna. The device under test is arranged outside the shielded chamber. The shielded chamber includes at least a first interface associated with the device under test. The first interface and the feed antenna are located at different sides of the shielded chamber, which are perpendicular to each other.

Test system

An over-the-air test system for testing a device under test over-the-air is described. The over-the-air test system includes a reflector with a focal point, one center antenna and antenna elements. The center antenna is orientated towards the focal point of the reflector. The antenna elements are symmetrically located around the center antenna. An operational frequency range of the center antenna is different to an operational frequency range of the antenna elements. Further, a method of performing an over-the-air measurement of a device under test by using an over-the-air test system is described.

The antenna assembly includes a feedthrough part, two waveguide inputs, a single waveguide output as well as a multiplexing part that is interconnected between the two waveguide inputs and the single waveguide output. Over-the-air measurement system and method of testing a device under test over-the-air

Measurement arrangement and method for measuring an electromagnetic field. It is for this purpose that a measurement probe is arranged on a mechanical probe positioning structure and moved along a number of one or more circular tracks. In this way, the measurement probe can be subsequently located at multiple different spatial positions and the corresponding electromagnetic signal can be measured. Accordingly, properties of an electromagnetic field can be determined by taking into account the measured electromagnetic signal with respect to the related spatial position.

The present disclosure relates to a compact antenna test range (CATR) system. The CATR system comprises a measurement chamber, at least one feed antenna which is configured to transmit a radio frequency, RF, signal, at least one reflector which is arranged to reflect the RF signal towards a measurement area in the measurement chamber, and at least two preferably metallic calibration surfaces which can be arranged at two or more positions in the measurement area, wherein the calibration surfaces are configured to reflect a respective reflection of the RF signal back to the at least one reflector which is, in turn, configured to reflect the reflections of the RF signal back to the at least one feed antenna. The CATR system further comprises a measurement unit which is configured to receive the respective reflections of the RF signal and to determine and/or visualize a time difference between the reception of the respective reflections of the RF signal.

Compact antenna test range system and method for calibrating a compact antenna test range

The present disclosure provides an over-the-air measurement system for testing a device under test. The over-the-air measurement system includes a single measurement antenna and a rotary antenna positioner for the measurement antenna. The over-the-air measurement system further comprises a hardware trigger that is capable of triggering a measurement. The hardware trigger is associated with the rotary antenna positioner. The over-the-air measurement system comprises at least one rotary joint attached to the antenna positioner.
