Methods, devices, and systems for detecting incapacitation and location using nodes are described herein. One system for detecting incapacitation and location using nodes can include an impact sensor, and a node including a memory and a processor to execute executable instructions stored in the memory to determine an incapacitating event has occurred via the impact sensor, determine a location of the node using a plurality of nodes, where the plurality of nodes include the node, and transmit the incapacitating event and the location of the node to an external server.

Transmitting positions of devices is described herein. One method for transmitting a position of a device includes converting a received Global Positioning System (GPS) signal to a short range signal with a first device, transmitting the short range signal using the first device, receiving the short range signal with a second device, and transmitting a position of the second device determined from the short range signal using the second device.

Some embodiments relate to a contactless RF coupling device that includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The RF coupling device may provide a broadband, low loss electrical connection without mechanical contact as would a conventional mechanical connector. The first substrate includes a first ground plane on one side and a first transmission line on an opposing side. The first transmission line includes an enlarged first coupling member at an end of the first transmission line. The second substrate includes a second ground plane on one side and a second transmission line on an opposing side. The second transmission line includes an enlarged second coupling member at an end of the second transmission line. The first ground plane may not extend under the first coupling member and the second ground plane may include an opening that is aligned with the second coupling member.

Devices, methods, and systems for building monitoring are described herein. One or more embodiments include a first transceiver coupled to a first phase of a power system of a building and configured to receive and send data over the first phase of the power system, a second transceiver coupled to a second phase of the power system and configured to receive and send data over the second phase of the power system, and a switch coupled to the first and second transceivers of the power system and configured to route data between the first and second transceivers of the power system.
