A fluid end for a reciprocating pump assembly includes a fluid end body defining an access opening having access opening threads formed on an inner surface thereof and extending between an inner threaded portion and an outer threaded portion. A blunt start is formed at the outer threaded portion of the access opening threads. The fluid end also includes a retainer nut having retainer nut threads formed on an outer surface of the retainer nut. To install the retainer nut in the fluid end, a first threaded portion of the retainer nut threads is configured to engage with the access opening threads before the second threaded portion. When the retainer nut is in a fully engaged position in the access opening, a second threaded portion of the retainer nut threads is offset from the blunt start of the access opening threads to define a circumferential offset distance therebetween.

A keyless timing gear assembly for securing a bull gear to a crankshaft of a power end of a reciprocating pump assembly, the keyless timing gear assembly including at least one actuator, an expansion member and at least one wedge member disposed between the at least one actuator and the expansion member, the wedge member having a sloped surface to slideably engage a corresponding sloped surface on the expansion member such that, in response to actuation of the at least one actuator, the at least one wedge member exerts a force on the expansion member for securing a bull gear to a crankshaft.

Keyless gear timing assembly for a reciprocating pump

A positive displacement pump includes a suction cover disposed in a suction access bore defined in the fluid end and housing, where the suction cover is configured to cover the suction access bore. A retainer nut is configured for abutting against the suction cover and retaining the suction cover within the suction access bore. A suction gland has an inner circumferential threaded interface configured to engage an external circumferential threaded interface defined on the retainer nut, and the suction gland has a plurality of threaded openings configured to receive a plurality of threaded fasteners that can be used for securely fastening the suction gland to the fluid end housing.

Modular suction gland assembly

A syringe assembly for a hydraulic fracturing system includes a syringe having a material chamber, a base fluid chamber, and a piston. The material chamber is configured to be fluidly connected to a fluid conduit. The piston retracts to draw material into the material chamber. The piston extends to push the material into the fluid conduit. The syringe assembly includes a diverter fluidly connected to the base fluid chamber and moveable between first and second positions. The first position of the diverter fluidly connects the base fluid chamber to a base fluid reservoir of the hydraulic fracturing system and fluidly disconnects the base fluid chamber from an outlet of a frac pump of the hydraulic fracturing system. The second position of the diverter fluidly connects the base fluid chamber to the outlet of the frac pump and fluidly disconnects the base fluid chamber from the base fluid reservoir.

Fluid delivery device for a hydraulic fracturing system

A fluid delivery device for a hydraulic fracturing system includes a fluid conduit having a fracking fluid outlet configured to be fluidly connected to a well head for delivering a fracking fluid to the well head. The fluid conduit includes a base fluid inlet configured to be fluidly connected to the outlet of a frac pump such that the fluid conduit is configured to receive a flow of base fluid from the frac pump. An injection system is fluidly connected to the fluid conduit downstream from the base fluid inlet and upstream from the fracking fluid outlet. The injection system is configured to be fluidly connected to a material source. The injection system is configured to inject at least one material of the fracking fluid from the material source into the fluid conduit downstream from the frac pump to generate the fracking fluid within the fluid conduit.

According to one aspect, an apparatus adapted to be connected to a component that is part of a pump system or a manifold trailer includes a block defining opposing first and second exterior surfaces. In one aspect, the block includes a recess formed in the first exterior surface and extending towards the second exterior surface, and an opening formed in the second exterior surface. In another aspect, the apparatus also includes an electronic identifying device at least partially accommodated within the recess, the device including a first portion having data stored thereon that provides identification of the component. In one aspect, the electronic identifying device further includes a second portion having data stored thereon that provides one of: information associated with certification of the component; and identification of the pump system or the manifold trailer of which the component is a part.
