An aerosol provision device for generating aerosol from a plurality of aerosol generating areas each configured to receive an aerosol precursor material can include a power source for providing power to a first atomizing element configured to generate aerosol from a first aerosol precursor material present in a first aerosol generating area and to a second atomizing element configured to generate aerosol from a second aerosol precursor material present in a second aerosol generating area; and power distribution circuitry configured to distribute power between the first atomizing element and the second atomizing element based on at least one parameter of the aerosol precursor material currently present in the first aerosol generating areas and the second aerosol generating area, respectively, wherein the at least one parameter is at least one of a presence of a first aerosol generating component including the first aerosol precursor material in the first aerosol generating area or a presence of a second aerosol generating component including the second aerosol precursor material in the second aerosol generating area.

The present disclosure relates to an aerosol provision cartridge for use with an aerosol provision system, the cartridge including a liquid storage region including a source liquid, the source liquid including nicotine and at least one acid; an aerosol generating region in fluid communication with the liquid storage region; and one or more metallic components, located substantially outside of the aerosol generating region and liquid storage region, wherein at least one of the metallic components has a coating comprising silver and/or gold.

An aerosol provision device for generating aerosol for user inhalation can include a first aerosol generating area and a second aerosol generating area each for receiving an aerosol precursor material; a mouthpiece from which a user inhales generated aerosol during use, wherein the mouthpiece comprises first and second mouthpiece openings; a first pathway extending from the first aerosol generating area to the first mouthpiece opening for transporting a first aerosol generated from the aerosol precursor material in the first aerosol generating area; and a second pathway extending from the second aerosol generating area chamber to the second mouthpiece opening for transporting a second aerosol generated from the aerosol precursor material in the second aerosol generating area, wherein the first and second pathways are physically isolated from one another to prevent mixing of the first and second aerosols as the first and second aerosols are transported along the respective pathways.

There is described an apparatus for heating aerosolizable material to volatilize at least one component of the aerosolizable material. The apparatus includes a heating chamber for containing aerosolizable material and a first heater arrangement for heating aerosolizable material contained in use within the heating chamber. The first heater arrangement is arranged to heat at least two sides of the aerosolizable material in the heating chamber. There is further provided an air flow channel outside of the heating chamber that runs alongside the first heater arrangement and is arranged such that, in use, when a user draws on a device comprising the apparatus, air flows into the apparatus and through the air flow channel so as to be preheated in the air flow channel by the first heater arrangement before flowing into the heating chamber and through the aerosolizable material.

An aerosol provision system includes one or more receptacles each forming a respective central space, a base adapted to support the or each receptacle, the or each receptacle being removable from the base and at least a first airflow generator, operable to draw air through at least a first aerosol generator, wherein the base includes one or more outlets through which, in operation, aerosolized payload is directed to flow from the base into the central space of a respective receptacle and the or each receptacle comprises a first opening through which the user can inhale the aerosolized payload.

There is provided a nicotine solution, including a carrier; nicotine in unprotonated form and in protonated form; and one or more acids, wherein at least benzoic acid, levulinic acid or a mixture thereof is present; and wherein the total content of acid present in the solution is no greater than 0.6 mole equivalents based on the nicotine.
