A respiratory device includes a blower having an inlet and an outlet, a patient interface, and a valve including a valve member that is rotatable from a first position to a second position. The outlet of the blower is coupled to the patient interface so that positive pressure is provided to a patient's airway via the patient interface when the valve member is in the first position. The inlet of the blower is coupled to the patient interface so that negative pressure is provided to the patient's airway via the patient interface when the valve member is in the second position. The valve member is rotatably oscillated back and forth when the valve member is in the first position and when the valve member is in the second position so that oscillations in the positive pressure and negative pressure, respectively, are provided to the patient's airway.

A patient support apparatus includes a bed including a frame. A mattress is supported by the frame. A respiratory therapy apparatus is supported by the frame. A pneumatic system is operable to inflate at least one bladder of the mattress and operable to deliver air to the respiratory therapy apparatus.

A nebulizer assembly for a respiratory device is provided having a housing defining a chamber. The housing also has a nebulizer port configured to receive a nebulizer to discharge atomized medication into the chamber. An outlet of a handle is coupled to the inlet of the housing. A hose is coupled to an inlet of the handle. A patient interface is coupled to the outlet of the housing. Air flows from the hose to the patient interface via the handle and the housing. The air mixes with the atomized medication within the chamber.

The outlet of the blower is coupled to the patient interface so that positive pressure is provided to a patient's airway via the patient interface when the valve member is in the first position. A thermal cycler is provided. The thermal cycler comprises a tray assembly. The tray assembly comprises a main body made of a first material having a first thermal conductivity. The tray assembly further comprises an adaptor made of a second material having a thermal conductivity that is greater than the thermal conductivity of the first material. The thermal cycler also includes a control block configured to control the temperature of the one or more nucleotide samples. The thermal cycler further includes a thermal cover sized and positioned to at least partially cover the plurality of vessels. The thermal cycler further includes a sample block including one or more depressions configured to receive a plurality of vessels containing one or more nucleotide samples.
