Provided is a flood barrier for use with HAZMAT materials. The barrier includes a first wall and a second wall joined together at a first end, tape for securing the barrier to a surface to prevent leaks, multiple flexible ribs attached between the first wall and second walls, one or more holes for filling, and a rod that separates an open end of the first and second wall to form a chamber with an open end. Several insulating floats are evenly spaced between the ribs on a bottom surface of the first wall to prevent overflow. A gap filler, such as uncured silicone and tape is used in the transition from a terminal rib to an exposed corner of the barrier. The barrier can withstand high heat for a sustained period of time, is leak-proof, and includes an improved method of sealing corners.

Barrier for hazardous liquids

A mask coupling apparatus coupled to an outer surface of a helmet and couplings of a mask including an adjusting mechanism comprising a single elastic strap coupled to the mask at both ends via the couplings, where the ends of the elastic strap are free to adjust the length of the mask coupling apparatus.

Mask coupling apparatus

A stuck drill bit having a KCS shank can be removed using an article with a body structure. The body structure has an opening that fits onto the shank, and an inward-facing surface around the opening is at least partially complementary to the surface of the shank. The surfaces engage sufficiently that rotary manual force is transferred from the inward-facing surface to the surface of the shank.

Extraction device and method

An apparatus being a lined fabric material is disclosed. One embodiment of the lined fabric is used as an augmentation sleeve for use with a non lethal, explosive device and includes a lined material having a liner material in between a first fabric and a second fabric, where at least said first fabric is likely to rupture when an explosive force being substantially applied to a liner material in said lined fabric. A liner material is a material that reduces the likelihood of injury when expelled from the lined fabric and contacts a person. The fabric material has some properties of flexible light weight material properties and also has the properties of substantially rigid materials.

Solid lined fabric and a method for making

A flexible fragmentation sleeve for use with a non-fragmenting explosive device is provided. The flexible fragmentation sleeve comprises a flexible cylindrical wall extending between opposing first and second ends along a longitudinal axis. The cylindrical wall includes an inner liner and an outer liner concentric to the inner liner. A first set of coupling elements extend parallel to the longitudinal axis of the cylindrical wall, and couple the inner liner with the outer liner. A second set of coupling elements extend circumferentially along the cylindrical wall. The second set of coupling elements is substantially perpendicular to the first set of coupling elements, and couple the inner liner with the outer liner. A plurality of pockets is defined intermediate the inner liner and the outer liner, and intermediate the first set of coupling elements and the second set of coupling elements. The flexible fragmentation sleeve of the illustrative embodiment further includes a plurality of fragmentation members. At least one fragmentation member is illustratively received within each pocket.
