A system for automatically binding client-side applications with backend services is disclosed. This system may comprise a client device programmed to request, on behalf of a user, a client-side application and a backend service programmed to: 1) identify a client account associated with the user, 2) identify authentication credentials associated with the client account, 3) dynamically inject, in response to the request, the authentication credentials into the client-side application, and 4) provide the injected client-side application to the client device. Corresponding computer-implemented methods and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Systems and methods for automatically binding client-side applications with backend services

Files to be installed on a computer system are streamed from an archive as the archive is being extracted directly to one or more final destination locations on the computer system.

Archive stream based install

A compatibility module manages compatibility issues between software applications installed on a computing device by intervening with installation of incompatible software applications to ensure compatibility problems are resolved. In one embodiment, an information control module stores compatibility information for a plurality of software applications, and this information describes how to resolve compatibility problems among the software applications. A search module searches for compatibility information, and a testing module analyzes the compatibility information to determine whether installation of a first software application on a computing device is compatible with the plurality of software applications installed on the computing device. Finally, an installation control module regulates the installation based on the result of the compatibility analysis.
