A method and system for using ultrasound for evaluating pressure of a vessel of a user, the method including: providing an ultrasound system configured to be placed at a body region proximal the vessel of the user, generating a correlation between a set of push pulse parameters and a set of push pulse-dependent values associated with the vessel, wherein generating the correlation includes providing a push pulse and determining a push pulse-dependent value based on the push pulse, generating a pressure value from the vessel based on the correlation, and generating a pressure waveform from the pressure value and a set of supplemental pressure values.

A system for creating a flow cytometer network includes: a flow cytometer with an interrogation zone and a fixed gain detection system that collects sample data from the interrogation zone; a flow cytometer data center that stores and manages sample-related data from the flow cytometer; and a network communication module that communicates sample-related data between the flow cytometer and the data center. System and method of verification of a prepared sample for a flow cytometer

A system for monitoring blood pressure and other physiologic parameters is provided. The system is designed such that it can be delivered to the patient with ease and minimal invasion. The system contains at least one self contained implantable sensing device consisting of a sensor, an electrical circuit for signal conditioning and magnetic telemetry, a biocompatible outer surface and seal, an anchoring method, and an external readout device. The implant is small in size so that it may be delivered to the desired location and implanted using a catheter, although direct surgical implantation is also possible. The circuit, sensor, and antenna for telemetry are packaged together and sealed hermetically to the biologic environment. The larger readout unit remains outside the body but proximal to the implant for minimizing communication distance.
