The invention concerns nucleic acids coding for polypeptides specific of thegenus pathogenic strains, the corresponding polypeptides, and their diagnostic and therapeutic applications.

The invention provides novel(Nm) polypeptides and polynucleotides which cover the Nm genetic diversity, and which correspond to polypeptide of Nm outer membrane and/or periplasma, and to methods for producing such Nm compounds. Also provided are anti-Nm infection, and particularly diagnostic. prophylactic and therapeutic uses thereof.
