A networking module cooling system includes a networking module connected to a networking device, and a temperature-based heat sink airflow channel adjustment system coupled to the networking module. The temperature-based heat sink airflow channel adjustment system includes a heat sink base, fixed heat sink fin subsystem(s) extending from the heat sink base and defining a first heat sink airflow sub-channel, and moveable heat sink fin subsystem(s) coupled to the heat sink base and defining a second heat sink airflow sub-channel adjacent the first heat sink airflow sub-channel. A heat-activated actuator subsystem coupled to the heat sink base is configured, in response to the heat sink base receiving heat generated by the networking module, to move the moveable heat sink fin subsystem(s) relative to the fixed heat sink fin subsystem(s) to adjust a size of a heat sink airflow channel provided by the first and second heat sink airflow sub-channels.

Temperature-based heat sink airflow channel adjustment system

A pluggable terminal block short circuit prevention system includes a pluggable terminal block having a computing device connector with positive and negative power sub-connectors that connect to a pluggable terminal block connector on a computing device. A power system connector is included on the pluggable terminal block and includes terminal block positive and negative power contacts that are coupled to the positive and negative power sub-connectors on the computing device connector, respectively. The power system connector couples to a power system via power cabling having a power cabling connector that includes power cabling connector positive and negative power contacts that are configured to engage the terminal block positive and negative power contacts when the power cabling connector is connected to the power system connector, with the power cabling connector preventing relative movement between the power cabling connector positive and negative power contacts.

Pluggable terminal block short circuit prevention system

A method for manufacturing networking devices includes providing circuit boards each having an NPU mounted to that circuit board, and respective cable connectors mounted to that circuit board and coupled to that NPU. First networking devices are manufactured by providing one of the circuit boards in a chassis in each first networking device, and cabling at least some of the cable connectors on that circuit board to first subsystem(s) in that first networking device in order to configure that first networking device to perform first functionality. Second networking devices are manufactured by providing a respective one of the circuit boards in a chassis in each second networking device, and cabling at least some of the cable connectors on that circuit board to second subsystem(s) in that second networking device in order to configure that second networking device to perform second functionality that is different than the first functionality.

High-speed networking device manufacturing system

A timing signal diagnostic system includes a chassis housing an input system that receives a timing signal, a timing system that receives the timing signal from the input system, an analog-to-digital converter system that receives the timing signal from the input system, and a processing system that is coupled to the timing system and the analog-to-digital converter system. The processing system uses the timing system to output reference time signals to the analog-to-digital converter system that are based on the timing signal, and uses the analog-to-digital converter system to sample the timing signal based on the reference time signals over a plurality of different timing signal cycles. Based on the sampling of the timing signal, the processing system generates a waveform for the timing signal, and provides a timing signal diagnostic result based on the waveform for the timing signal.

A computing device liquid cooling system includes a multi-device chassis, a computing device, and a multi-device-chassis/device movable coupling liquid cooling system that moveably couples the computing device to the multi-device chassis. The multi-device-chassis/device movable coupling liquid cooling system includes a computing device mounting element that is mounted to the computing device and configured to transfer heat generated by the computing device, a multi-device chassis mounting element that includes a liquid cooling subsystem and that is mounted to the multi-device chassis, and a movable coupling that is configured to allow the computing device mounting element to move relative to the multi-device chassis mounting element. The multi-device chassis mounting element is configured to receive the heat generated by the computing device and transferred by the computing device mounting element, and transfer the heat received from the computing device mounting element using the liquid cooling subsystem.

Multi-device-chassis/device movable coupling liquid cooling system

A device information display system includes a device information display chassis with a display device, a device information display connector that is configured to connect to a computing device connector on any of a plurality of computing devices, and a device information retrieval subsystem coupled to each of the display device and the device information display connector. The device information retrieval subsystem automatically receives first device information associated with a first computing device from the first computing device in response to the device information display connector being connected to the first computing device and, while the device information display connector is connected to the first computing device, provides the first device information for display on the display device. Subsequent to the device information display connector being disconnected from the first computing device, the device information retrieval subsystem continues to provide the first device information for display on the display device.
