The application is configured to determine a capability associated with the contactless card after a first entry into a communication field. The application is configured to request additional information based on the determination. The one or more applets are configured to transmit, to the application, a generated tokenized link after a second entry into the communication field based on the requested additional information. The application is configured to transmit the link to obtain the requested additional information.

A device receives first transaction information associated with a first transaction, and a first transaction account utilized for the first transaction and associated with a first financial institution. The device determines, based on a fraud model, that the first transaction is to be denied due to potential fraud associated with the first transaction account and receives second transaction information associated with a second transaction, and a second transaction account utilized for the second transaction and associated with a second financial institution. The device processes the first transaction information and the second transaction information, with a matching model, to determine whether the first transaction information matches the second transaction information and determines that the first transaction was incorrectly denied when the first transaction information matches the second transaction information within a predetermined threshold. The device performs one or more actions based on determining that the first transaction was incorrectly denied.

For example, an application executing on a computing device may authenticate credentials associated with an account and detect a tap of a contactless card to the computing device. The application may determine, based on the action data, the determined context, and data associated with the account, a first action associated with the tap of the contactless card to the computing device, the first action associated with at least one of the application and an operating system (OS). A device receives a transaction request concerning a transaction and a transaction card from a transaction terminal, and determines, based on the transaction request, information concerning the transaction card. The device sends, based on the transaction request and to a user device, a query concerning possession of the transaction card by a user of the user device, where the query includes an instruction for the user to confirm possession of the transaction card via a component of the user device. The device receives, from the user device and after sending the query to the user device, a response concerning possession of the transaction card by the user, and determines, based on the response and the information concerning the transaction card, whether the user has possession of the transaction card. The device performs, based on determining whether the user has possession of the transaction card, at least one action.

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media for secure generation of one-time passcodes using a contactless card. In one example, an operating system (OS) of a device may receive a uniform resource locator (URL) and a cryptogram from a contactless card. The OS may launch an application associated with the URL. The application may transmit the cryptogram to an authentication server. The application may receive a decryption result from the authentication server indicating the authentication server decrypted the cryptogram. Based on the decryption result, the application may request an OTP. The processor may receive an OTP from an OTP generator. The application may receive an input value and compare the input value to a copy of the OTP. The application may determine that the comparison results in a match, and display, based on the determination that the comparison results in the match, one or more attributes of the account.
