A drainage device may include a channel body mountable on the surface proximate to an outlet on the surface and extendable away from the surface. A drainage device may include a groove formed along at least a partial length of the channel body. A drainage device may include a lip protruding from a bottom edge of the channel body at an end of the channel body that is distal from the surface when the drainage device is mounted thereon, wherein when the drainage device is mounted on the surface proximate to the outlet, fluid from the outlet is directed by the drainage device away from the surface.

A drainage device for directing fluid away from a thru-hull fitting located on a hull of a vessel includes: a channel body mountable proximate to and extendable away from the hull of the vessel; a groove formed along at least a partial length of the thru-hull body; and a lip protruding from a bottom edge of the channel body at an end of the channel body that is distal from the hull of the vessel when the drainage device is mounted thereon.

A marine thru-hull fitting drainage device for directing fluid away from a thru-hull fitting installed through a bore in a hull of a vessel includes: an elongate thru-hull body forming a channel and having a flange formed on an end thereof; a channel body formed on a face of the flange and extending away from the hull of the vessel, the channel body forming a drainage channel for directing water from the channel of the thru-hull body away from the hull of the vessel; a groove formed in the channel body; and a lip protruding from a bottom edge of the channel body.

A device for preventing staining of a boat hull includes: a thru hull mounted through the boat hull, the thru hull including a thru hull body, a flange located on an end of the thru hull body, and a lip protruding from a face of the flange; a drainage device mountable on the thru hull, the drainage device including a drainage device body, an inwardly projecting rim located at least partially around the drainage device body, and a drainage lip protruding from the drainage device body. The inwardly projecting rim is shaped such that the drainage device is secured on the thru hull by locating the inwardly projecting rim around at least a portion of the lip protruding from the face of the flange of the thru hull.

Thru hull with removable drainage device

A marine thru-hull fitting drainage device includes: a channel body having a substantially U-shaped cross-sectional area along a length of the body such that the body forms a channel for directing fluid within the body, the body extending from a first end proximate to the hull of the vessel when the drainage device is installed and a second end that is distal from the hull of the vessel, wherein the second end extends beyond an edge of the thru-hull fitting; and a ring having an inner diameter that is at least as wide as a diameter of the bore in the hull of the vessel, the resiliently flexible channel body attached to the ring at the first end of the channel body. The drainage device is secured to the hull of the vessel by securing the ring between the thru-hull and the hull of the vessel.

A marine thru-hull fitting and drainage device for directing fluid away from a hull of a vessel. The thru-hull fitting includes a thru-hull body and a thru-hull flange formed on an end of the thru-hull body. The thru-hull flange includes an attachment portion formed on at least a portion of the face of the thru-hull flange, the attachment portion located adjacent to a discharge outlet of the thru-hull. A drainage device is secured on the attachment portion, the drainage device including U-shaped channel body having a substantially U-shaped cross-sectional area along a length of the body such that the body forms a channel for directing fluid from the discharge outlet along the body, the body extending from a first end proximate to the face of the thru-hull flange to a second end that is distal from the thru-hull flange.

A marine thru-hull fitting drainage device directs fluid away from a thru-hull fitting in the hull of a vessel. The drainage device includes a resiliently flexible channel body having a substantially U-shaped cross-sectional area, the body shaped to taper from a first flat end proximate to the hull of the vessel to a second narrower end that is distal from the hull of the vessel. The device also includes a flange attached to the first end of the body proximate to the hull having a flat surface area shaped to conform around an edge of the thru-hull fitting on the hull of the boat and an adhesive material formed on the flat surface area of the semi-circular flange, the adhesive material attached to the flat surface area of the semi-circular flange on a first side and having a removable non-adhesive layer concealing a second adhesive side of the adhesive material.
