A semiconductor device includes: a housing; a substrate inside the housing; first and second semiconductor circuits on the substrate; and first and second planar terminals electrically connected to the first and second semiconductor circuits, respectively, the first and second planar terminals stacked on top of each other, wherein each of the first and second planar terminals extends away from the housing.

In one embodiment, a method includes determining available media content from one or more content sources and providing at least a portion of the available media content for display in a programming guide on a display device of a user. The programming guide includes a plurality of entries each associated with one of the available media content. The method further includes determining that an update action button should be displayed on the display device, providing the update action button for display on the display device when it is determined that the update action button should be displayed, and updating the programming guide in response to a user selection of the update action button. The update action button is operable to cause the social-networking system to update the programming guide.

In one embodiment, a method includes providing a plurality of thumbnails for display on a display device, receiving an indication that a user selected a particular thumbnail, and providing one or more instructions to change from media content that the user is currently watching to media content associated with the particular thumbnail. Each of the plurality of thumbnails includes a visual indication representing media content previously viewed by the user. The plurality of thumbnails are operable to change from media content that the user is currently watching to media content corresponding to the particular thumbnail selected by the user.

In a method of manufacturing an electronic device a transistor having respective input, output and control leads extending parallel to each other is positioned; first and second busbar layers are placed relative to the transistor so that a first tab extending from the first opening aligns with and contacts one of the input and output leads, and so that a second tab extending from the second opening aligns with and contacts another one of the input and output leads; the first tab and one of the input and output leads are welded; a circuit board is placed parallel to the busbar layers so that the control lead and the first and second tabs extend through corresponding openings in the circuit board; and the control lead and the at least one of the first and second tabs are soldered to one or more circuits on the circuit board.

An electronic component includes: a laminate busbar structure comprising at least two busbar layers separated by an insulating layer; a transistor connected to the laminate busbar structure on a first side thereof; and a capacitor that is mounted on the first side of the laminate busbar structure and is positioned further away from the laminate busbar structure than the transistor, the capacitor having respective planar terminals parallel to each other and perpendicular to the laminate busbar structure, each of the planar terminals comprising a rectangular member with one side thereof connected to the capacitor and an opposite end connected to a corresponding one of the busbar layers.

An apparatus includes an inverter including a high-side switch coupled to a low-side switch, the inverter generating a time-varying drive current from a plurality of drive control signals, a positive rail voltage, and a negative rail voltage wherein controlling the switches to generate the time-varying drive current produces a potential transitory overshoot condition for one of the switches of the inverter; a drive control, coupled to the inverter, to generate the drive control signals and to set a level of each of the rail voltages responsive to a plurality of controller signals; and a controller monitoring one or more parameters indicative of the potential transitory voltage overshoot condition, the controller dynamically adjusting, responsive to the monitored parameters, the controller signals to reduce a risk of occurrence of the potential transitory voltage overshoot condition.
