Case for electronic device

A foldable case for foldable mobile electronic devices. The foldable case generally comprises a first shell and a second shell hingedly connected to a third shell. The foldable case is reconfigurable between a closed configuration, an open configuration, and intermediate configurations therebetween. The first, second and third shells comprise cooperative engagement features which allow the first and second shells to hinge or pivot relative to the third shell. The cooperative engagement features also constrain the first and second shells to the third shell and limit the first and second shells to pivotal movements in the open and closed configurations but allow lateral movements in the intermediate configurations.

Folding case for mobile electronic device

A protective and/or ornamental case for a foldable handheld electronic device. The case includes a front shell and a back shell pivotally connected to a hinge cover by one or more coupling mechanisms. A first portion of an electronic device is inserted into the front shell and a second portion of the electronic device is inserted into the back shell. The coupling mechanisms retain the front and back shells operatively engaged with the hinge cover as the electronic device housed in the case is pivotally or hingedly opened and closed, help prevent unintended opening or closing of the device, and keep the device open or closed when so positioned by a user.

An accessory for a handheld electronic device generally including attachment portion for attaching the accessory to the device and a stand and gripping portion for holding the portable electronic device on a support surface or for gripping by a user. The attachment portion can take the form of a suction cup or other removable fastening mechanism, and the stand and gripping portion can be shaped to resemble a character or object such as a balloon dog.

An antenna positioner, and methods of positioning using the antenna positioner, that may track a satellite are described. An antenna positioner may include a base and a mount rotatably coupled to the base to turn the mount about an azimuth axis. The mount may support an antenna element so that the antenna element can rotate about the elevation axis with respect to the mount. A center drive shaft for the elevation drive may pass through the hollow portion of the mount along the azimuth axis to drive a bevel gear set, a first gear of the set being coupled to the drive shaft and a second gear of the set being coupled to the antenna element, to rotate the antenna element about the elevation axis. Drive compensation is provided to counteract elevation rotation resulting from cross-coupling of the azimuth and elevation axes by the bevel gear set during azimuth rotation.
